I cannot thank David Buran enough! When I called, he personally answered the phone and when the conversation was over, I felt like 50 pounds of weight was lifted off my shoulders. He is very knowledgeable, professional, driven and humorous all in a nice neat bundle. If you have questions, or you think your in trouble and your scared, call him, you’ll be glad you did.

I phoned Mr. Buran two days before Christmas, fully expecting to get directed to voicemail. I was happy to hear him answer the phone. What followed was a 20 minute conversation addressing my concerns over tax issues relating to my deceased mother. He was professional, informative, and occasionally humorous. After the phone call I was relieved, and informed. I would strongly recommend him, and will have no reservations calling him in the future.

My conversation with Mr. Buran was quick but thorough. He was able to guide me to what I needed to do next without increasing the amount I owe since it wasn’t necessary to hire him. His advice gave me to confidence to solve my own problem.

Edit, 5/9/2023: In short, David eventually made this right in a way that satisfied me. Bumping from 1 star to 3 as a result of his honesty and integrity in this matter. ---------------ORIGINAL REVIEW------------ Paid him a $1000 retainer up front. He provided no evidence that he had ever worked on my case and basically said, "tuff luck" when I pressed him on the matter. I'll give him the benefit of the doubt given his glowing reviews, but my personal experience was a total ripoff.

I needed to contact a tax attorney with questions regarding my father's estate, and no one else I contacted was available. Via the Vermont State referral, I was given David's contact information. He picked up and I was able to get all of the answers to my initial questions under the time that was given to me. He was very professional, knowledgeable and helpful as well as humorous, and i'll be recruiting him down the line when i'm further in the Estate process!

I had questions about a failure to file and 401k close out while working in one state and living in another. I was worried about criminal and civil penalties, and David gave me answers to all my questions putting me at ease. He called back within 12 hours and took the time to explain everything indepth to me. I would definitely recommend him for any questions regarding tax law and compliance. If I were to run into any legal issue again he would be the first person I would call.
