It was a very smooth experience! He cares about his clients and is very attentive, and personable! He made the process simple and streamlined for me, which is what I needed going through all the financial stress I was at the time! He explains everything in detail and nothing was missed he even caught some mistakes I made in the filing process! He walks you through the whole thing and doesn’t leave much for you to do but give him the information he needs to file for you! If you are going through finacial difficulties and are looking to file I highly highly recommend Dave Osterman!

David helped us with our bankruptcy last year and helped us get a discharge. However, post-discharge, he has done nothing but ignore us since July! He was very responsive when we were paying him but now will not answer calls or emails. He understood our situation and that we were going to need guidance post-discharge for one creditor specifically but come to find out, he did not file correctly. We assumed we were all set with our case but David missed a crucial step for us that we only found out from another attorney. I DO NOT recommend David as he takes on more than he can handle. I would give 0 stars if I could. Very unprofessional! I wish I chose an attorney with more knowledge about our specific situation than David led us to believe.

Great Bankruptcy Attorney. Did a very professional job for me. Good Customer Service is very hard to find these days but Attorney Osterman showed me it still exists.

I want to share that David is the most ethical hard-working lawyer I have ever met when it comes to bankruptcy. He answered all my questions about a second time and after much discussion, he gave me time to really think about it to make sure I was doing the right thing for myself and my family. We decided not to go bankrupt but to Continue on and try to pay my bills as if it were a chapter 13 and it’s working out really well. David, even though I prepaid him for the bankruptcy after I decided not to do it. He gave me some of the money back after he was working on my case. Although I decided ultimately not to go bankrupt, I appreciate David’s advice is timely. Answers to my questions and even though I’ve done it one time before I just felt the second time was just too much for me. I want to say that creditors started working with me while David was on retainer and taking calls for me. Because of that made my decision easier. Personally David was OK with that thank you, David.

Smart, savvy, ethical, no nonsense and kind. He explains well and is always available when needed. He knows his stuff, doesn't try to play legal games or work the system but he does work hard to get the best for the client. He gives lawyers a GOOD name shattering the bad image that lawyers have. Hello! My name is Russell, and I worked with Attorney Osterman for approximately a year before I had to go on a leave of absence due to starting university. Therefore, this review is a bit different as it comes from my experience working with him rather than as a client. I’ve always believed Attorney Osterman to be one of the most kind-hearted, inspiring, intelligent people on this planet. From my perspective, I’ve always appreciated how Attorney Osterman allowed me to explore what bankruptcy law is and the nuances of how the field of law operates. I’d bombard him with constant questions, from bankruptcy to cuisine, which he’d always take the time to answer thoroughly and with purpose. I’ve studied business ethics for a while at the University of Toronto - and Attorney Osterman is the textbook example of what it means to be a great, ethical, successful business practitioner. From the client's perspective, I’ve seen him treat clients the same. Attorney Osterman always thoroughly answers client’s questions in a manner that, from my experience with other lawyers, is not similar to theirs. What I admired about Attorney Osterman was translating complex terms and definitions into layman's terms. A considerable stereotype around lawyers is that they use pretentious wording that often overwhelms their clients, leading to clients not fully understanding the bankruptcy process. Attorney Osterman is the literal antithesis of this stereotype. He will make sure to explain processes and definitions so clearly to the point you feel almost like a bankruptcy attorney yourself. Attorney Osterman has your hand the entire step of the bankruptcy process and will ensure not to let go of it. There’s also this aspect of being on the winning team that I’ve admired about Attorney Osterman. Being a client of Attorney Osterman is like being a Patriots fan from 2006-2008, where you just can’t stop winning - and this is an understatement. There are times that you might ask Attorney Osterman to stop having you win so much, but he’ll just make you win even more. In my time with Attorney Osterman, so many financial situations have been improved due to his sheer experience in the field (more than 40 years of experience), complimented by his intuition, his motivation to see his clients not just succeed but prosper, and his book knowledge on how bankruptcy operates in the State of New Hampshire. All these traits have led to a ridiculously large amount of homes, cars, and other property being saved in otherwise hopeless situations. I’ve even seen credit scores in the 400s turned to 700s or higher with Attorney Osterman’s guidance. In short, I think Attorney Osterman is the clear choice regarding bankruptcy. His expertise and wisdom (having one is sufficient, but having both is unstoppable) truly paint the way to your future worry-free financial success.

I arrived at his office early for our appointment, as I am looking into filing for chapter 7 bankruptcy. He was unprepared for my visit; this was the first thing. Then we move into his office, where interruption after interruption was going happening, and he was moving away from our conversations repeatedly, to tend to these disruptions. I found this super annoying. You should arrange to order you medications in advance or have these conversations before or after your appointments with potential clients. This looked really bad. I am very unimpressed. Next, he was running me in circles with a civil matter I have currently, that I am trying to resolve, and changed back and forth from two different answers several times. And to top it all off, the vocal fry was very annoying to me as well. I am a person with a disability, whom he asked what my disability is. And I was taken aback by that question, because you're not supposed to ask someone that. If they volunteer it, that's one thing. But you do not ask someone that question. I even mentioned that to him, as well. I have contacted and met with another B.A. who will not pork me for $2,000.00 to file for chapter 7. This other B.A. does it on a sliding scale, according to someone's income. And he does this, because, well, you're filing for bankruptcy, how can you just pull $2,000.00 out of your pocket. There's a REASON why I am seeking services related to not having any money. This one will be much more affordable, so I can get what I need done. This review will not be coming down, it will remain up. I would highly advise anyone seeking to file for chapter 7, look around. There are cheaper options available to you. I gave 2 stars, because the office air conditioning was pleasant to me. Sorry, but I am not going to be hiring you, Attorney David Osterman to represent me in a chapter 7 bankruptcy case.

Great experience from beginning to end. We were able to communicate over email or phone calls at anytime.
