Just an amazing experience and deep assistance when it comes to

Spoke to an attorney regarding my breach of contract case. I am not looking for an attorney that wants to play nice with the opposing side. Moreover, when the person I am speaking to infers that I am too headstrong and determined to get what the other party owes me, and they don't believe they can work with me, I appreciate the candor, as I am not interested in working with someone I would have to be "pulling" along. The positives were that he was courteous. The negatives, beside those briefly mentioned above, is that I want someone to match my determination to get the other party to pay. Way too many law firms to settle for "good guys". I want a lawyer or firm that emphasizes and is onboard with my end goal. To get the other party to pay as much as allowed by state and federal law.

I hire Davis Business Law to help me with a case, unfortunately the communication with attorney Chantesia Hodges was not good, keep making mistakes on my petition when she had all correct information in file, I had to correct mistakes on the petition and I am not the attorney, she had all information and no mistakes supposed to be in there, at the end she made apparently another mistake that didn’t benefit me in the case but hopefully work affect once I hire another attorney, Chantesia keep asking for money and she withdrew my case without a bearable reason, I followed all the instructions given to me by the firm, paid all my bills and didn’t have any past due invoices at the time of withdrawal, Chantesia refused to talk to me when she sent me her link to set up appointment, billing called me 20 mins before the appointment, i only needed to talk to her to clarify mistake on my petition and me wanting to have a good and clear communication, this affecting my case and probably delayed everything and me having to hire another attorney, DO NOT HIRE this firm, I tried to speak to Tricia, Dereck, Katrina and all of them refused to talk to me when they didn’t take care of me and my case how they supposed to didn’t even ask me what happened, and none of them wanted to listen to my side of what happened just terminating my contract without a good reason

I originally hired the law firm to handle a business matter between my business partner and I. I received Chantesia Hodges as my attorney. It has been a year and over $20k later and no resolve but a certified letter removing herself from my case. I never received one phone call, email or just a regular letter on anything. This law firm continued to prolong my case to continue to bill billable hours. I never received a court date. It started off by her telling me that I had to do all these steps inwhich in a hearing opposing counsel asked why did I wait this long to file? Why didn't I just go straight to court? When asked my response was because my attorney told me courts wasn't seeing cases where there was not an effort to resolve first. Which turned out to be a lie. Again, I state more billable hours. It got so bad that they kept asking for $2500 every month and sometimes twice but never anything has ever come back at all. My mother passed in October so honestly, I had not been bothered by no communication from her until I received this certified letter in the mail. My last correspondence with someone at the firm asking for more money. I responded and said for what? I had not heard from her. What could she be doing as nothing has happened? I then said I am not paying anymore money until there is a court date in place. This Law firm is a hustle. I know that I am a young black women and I paid every bill and every retainer with no problem. It is sad and unethical that I already was being ran over by my business partner and to seek counsel to get the same thing done again. It seems that because I wasn't going to allow them to keep billing me for nothing. It doesn't take a year to get a court date. It wasn't much because it is just between me and my business partner and a small trucking company. I am now having to seek how I can get my money back from this law firm. They did NOTHING. They had me so much as to pay a bond on a truck that still was operating after me informing her that he was operating against court order she did nothing but continue to bill me with no resolve. On my life I wouldn't ever recommend this firm. They will be about billable hours and no outcome. I am worse than I started off with my situation especially being out of another $20k+ in legal fees that didn't pan out to anything. They don't deserve any stars but you have to choose one to post.
