Extremely satisfied with the level of competency, professionalism communication and compensation I received from this law firm. I have since recommended Nick to other co worker's. The client advocation I received from them exceded my expectations. Experience matters in these cases and it showed.
Mr.walker is a caring and compassionate hard-working attorney!! Very intelligent and a real Genuine person. Stands up for what’s right for you and your families. Thank you!!
Nick and Andrea were incredible team who stood by me through the most painful time of my life. For two years, they worked tirelessly to fight for our family. Their dedication, compassion, and determination never wavered. They guided me through every step of the process, always making sure I understood what was happening and always fighting for what was right. Because of their hard work and commitment, we won the case and my family received the compensation that was rightfully ours. I am forever grateful for everything they did for us. If you are looking for attorneys who truly care and will fight relentlessly on your behalf, I cannot recommend Nick Pontarolo highly enough.
Thanks for the review Sarah. It was a pleasure helping you and your family. Best - Nick -
When you meet Nicholas Pontarolo, you instantly know he is well versed in his area of law, and it puts you at ease. I received a recommendation to confer with Nick, regarding my Labor and Industries claim. Recommended by my brother who had an experience similar to mine, injured at work and was not going to be able to continue working. I called Nick after almost six weeks of having no one at my company respond to my injury and I wish I had done it sooner. I felt from the beginning his concern for his client (you), Nick is a lawyer who cares about what is right and wrong. His main concern is that you are made whole from your injury. I can't recommend him more highly to anyone who is struggling with a work injury, and have experiencing inadequate attention from your employer. I suggest you seek out Nicholas J. Pontarolo. I suggest you go to him right after you are injured. From the begining you will have someone that has your back and always wants what's best for you. He has, hands down, made a huge difference in my future. Thank you Nick for who you are and what you do.
Thank you Mary for your kind words. Much appreciated.
Hands down the best help though this frustrating, painful, stressful time of my life, they are professional smart and have your back 100%. I had a severe neck injury and long-lasting disabilities as a result I was hopeful and optimistic that things will change for the better but they have not improved substantially leaving me disabled and if it wasn't for my lawer Michael and his co working team, I don't think I ever would have been to a closing point. I am today finally without their help there's just no way, they are the best team you could ask for in your corner , rooting for you, and Swinging for you as well, great people. Highly recommend, I have recommended multiple friends that have had different kinds of injuries and they have helped resolve their issues quickly, as well legally absolutely amazing. Im so thankful I made that call to them nearly five years ago.
Michael J. Pontarolo Was recommend by a family member and I would do the same for family or a friend!
I was involved in a car accident and Mr.Pontarolo was an incredible source of help! He walked me through the entire process and was very patient with me. He went the extra mile to make sure that I was taken care of. I highly recommend him as he will get the job done!!!! Catherine Hollister
I had a very unique, L&I case. I was physically attacked and abused by a client that I was giving home care too. The incident resulted in some physical injury and left me with mental distress and anxiety. I was overwhelmed with paperwork trying to handle the claim on my own. A friend of mine referred me to Nick as an attorney who could help me with my situation and I am so glad that I called him. Nick turned out to be a godsend for me. He guided me through a very complicated case. I always felt he was looking out for my best interest. He gave me comfort during a very long and stressful case. I found him to be always available to me and always got back to me when he said he would. During the course of my three year case I got to know Nick as a man of integrity and professionalism I will always be indebted to Nick for the help that he gave me. I would not hesitate to recommend Nick to anybody who is looking for a good attorney, thank you Nick and all of your staff. Heather
Mike Pontarolo represented Jean in her workers compensation case and did a fantastic job. He was very aware of what type of injury she had and how the details needed to be handled to achieve a positive outcome. Jean's words" You did a fantastic job and thank God for you." "you were a God send and I very much appreciate your hard work!" Jean and David Base
In 2016, my life changed in an instant when I suffered a serious injury while operating a large piece of equipment. The road ahead was uncertain—I faced surgery, a long recovery, and the daunting challenge of navigating the complexities of L&I just to get the medical care and retraining I needed to rebuild my future. I can say with absolute certainty that I wouldn’t be where I am today without my attorney, Michael J. Pontarolo. From day one, Mike fought for me—not just as a client, but as a person who needed real support. He guided me through every step of the L&I process, ensuring I got the care I deserved and the retraining necessary to restart my career. Because of his dedication, I was able to regain not just my ability to work, but my confidence and sense of purpose. Today, I have a job I love, a future I never thought possible after my injury, and most importantly, the ability to provide for my beautiful wife, daughter, and son. We are all incredibly grateful to Mike for helping me rebuild my life, and I can’t recommend him enough to anyone facing the overwhelming challenges of an L&I claim. If you need someone who truly cares and will fight for your future, Mike is the one to call.
LnI’s worst nightmare is your success! If you’re tired of being taken advantage of by LnI and there uncouth practices; trying to line their pockets and take advantage of you, despite all your money paid in to the program then you need the absolute best representation you can get. Not only did Nick Pontaralo and his team set LnI straight on numerous occasions I even received apologies from them.”Booo Yay LnI”! Going with any other firm is literally shooting yourself in the foot, cutting off your nose despite your face don’t do it. Give these guys a call. They’re absolutely, Undisputedly the best.
Glad I was able to help Bryan. Be well my friend. - Nick -
I injured both of my arms right and left. Falling downstairs doing in home care. On the day of my mediation halfway through, my attorney admitted, he got me confused with another lady in Harrison Idaho, my last name is Harrison. As I wanted to hold out , while the mediator joked and made light of work injuries, I am right handed. My right arm doesn't work correctly, I did a lot of work in my church. I am a homemaker. I take a lot of pride in my home being a place of comfort and inviting to people, I used to bake and feed people, and so the job that I had for wages, wasn't my main job, even though I didn't bring home a salary for it. My" job" was taking care of my home and my church and my husband and serving god with my two hands. The thing I did to make money injured me, because the lady I was working for didn't let me know that her staircase ,in the spring would move when the basement flooded. It moved.I fell, I hurt my right elbow and my left wrist, and now all the things I used to do to serve God and others I cannot do any longer. None of this meant anything to my attorney at the mediation. As I kept holding out because I didn't know how I would end up the rest of my life with these 2 injuries he kept telling me dead. There was gonna be so security disability. There was gonna be a medical fund. And so this was just the first part of the mediation for my injury. I even thought I would just go to court because I thought my case was so different than so many other people At that point, my attorney didn't want to go to court. It was obvious He was not wanting to go to court to represent me, who I am. He told me scary things about, if the judge was in a bad mood, I would lose everything. He, and I am ashamed to say, my husband, with pressure from the "mediator " talked me onto taking an offer, which I knew, would not compensate me for paying people to do for me, what I had always done for myself. Gardening, lawn care, house work, cleaning the church, changing my own oil, recently I paid Ford $600.00 for changing plugs and oil in my truck. This I used to do at a fraction of the cost. But none of this was considered, I was a part time worker to them all. After that nightmare, the medical portion was to be settled, that's when I found out, I didn't have enough "points" for SSI disability, so any leverage from SSI to keep SIF accountable did not exist. My Attorney told me the day of mediation , SSI would cause pressure for SIF to cover me medically...NOT. He was incorrect and when I , out of concer, asked him if he was doing okay, he had made a few errors in my doctors name and other odd statements which didn't pertain to me, he accused me of questioning his integrity and told me I could get a different Attorney. By then I was hurting, depressed and totally vulnerable and my attorney, the one person who supposedly knows the ins and outs of the system, chewed me out and threatened me that I could "go it alone" if I thought I could do better. I couldn't make any decisions, I was so down. I didn't think the Attorney was going to take part of the medical bank. I thought he got paid for working the entire case from my mediation, so I didn't think I could pay up front for another attorney, just another thing I misunderstood when my attorney told me the medical is put in the bank, in my name and I had comple control over it. I was told it is a new way SIF and all other workers comp. In Idaho are now doing things, rather than keep a claim open for treatment. I am not pleased at all. My best intrest was not even considered. All because in the beginning my Attorney didn't ever find out and set in his mind, who I am.
Nick Pontarolo, and the rest of the staff at this office were thorough and proffesional and did a great job on educating us on the whole process. Thank you for the help you gave us in dealing with the state.
Thanks Cass. Glad we could help. Best - Nick
Nick I can not thank the guy enough. This was a nasty case against KAISER ALUMINUM and we beat them. He is very dedicated, knows his law, and will not let anything go unturned. What an amazing attorney. Highly, Highly recommend.
Why Nick Pontarolo should represent you if you have been injured on the job! Read this Post to the end and you will clearly see why you need Nick and this Firm! I'm 65 years old and have worked hard Construction Labor for most of my life until I injured my shoulder at the end of 2018. That is when I opened my first "Workers Comp Claim" and after many Exams, Tests and Scans, an Orthopedic Surgeon told me that I had "Stage 4 Osteoarthritis" on top of other serious complications that would have caused me to need a Shoulder Replacement in the very near future, especially if I kept working at my trade. I did not seek any legal counsel at the time and had to go back to work "light duty" in spite of my ongoing condition. I then was immediately reinjured after being taken off of "light duty" in middle of 2019! I saw the "Company's Preferred Doctor" that wouldn't even prescribe pain medication, despite the obvious pain I was in. I decided to call a good friend of mine that is an Employment Attorney in Portland to ask his advice. He told me that he would find me good Attorney in Spokane and through his research he gave me a short list and Nick Pontarolo's name was right on top. I called Nick and he took immediate action and control as he represented and guided me through a maze of "BUREAUCRATIC RED TAPE" involving Doctors, Employers, Attorneys, Therapists, Vocational Rehabilitation Councilors and even more. Because of Nick's connections, I have had one of the premier Shoulder Surgeons in the Country replace my shoulder and some of the best rehabilitation experts throughout the region working with me as well. While all this was going on, I never missed a "Time Loss' compensation check for 4+ years. I'm now retired, and my claim just closed and without Nick's professional representation and expertise for these last 4+ years, I truly believe that I would have lost everything I've ever worked for my entire life. Nick, You treated me like family and did an incredible job and for that I am forever grateful... Patrick PS- Also, I want to thank all the Attorney's and Office Staff for the combined team effort and supporting rolls you all played for my well-being and all while I was enjoying the view from the 12th floor of the Chase Bank Building Downtown Spokane.
Patrick - It was our pleasure. Stop by anytime. Your Friend - Nick Pontarolo
My husband was heavily medicated as he was under hospice care for stage 4 cancer. I was medicated due to depression. Mr Curran was recommended to us by Spokane Hospice as someone who would come to our house to update my husband's will. I do not believe Mr Curran did his best work for us. My husband was very distraught and agitated, I did my best not to upset him anymore than necessary, and signed off on his will. Unfortunately, even though he asked if I understood what I was signing off on, I still signed, walked away crying and let the witnesses finish up with the lawyer. I understood that the will said everything was going to his children, but I also assumed I could contest the will, as signing was an act of kindness to a dying man, who repeatedly told me not to worry, that I was being taken care of. When Mr Curran left our home, he took my phone with him. It was three days of me looking before he called to say he had it. When my husband passed away his sisters were the executors of the estate. Imagine my suprise when 5 weeks after his passing, after living in this house for 10 years, I was served with an eviction notice... 3 days to get out, served on me by his sister and written up by none other than Mr Curran. Was he my husband's lawyer or his sister's lawyer? I felt there was some conflict of interest... probably wrong on that point, but still I don't think he took in my husband's mental state, or mine, into consideration. He most certainly did not consider what happened to me afterwards, and Oh My Gosh. He took my phone.
If you were injured at work, you need Nick. When I was injured at work, I was too stubborn and proud to get the help I needed. I did what my company told me to do, tried not to rock the boat, hoping they would fix me up and get me back on the road. I went to their approved doctor, followed all the advice of their case manager, and gritted my teeth through the pain until my condition went from bad to worse to permanent. Big mistake. My injury got worse and worse following their advice, and they kept delaying and putting off the recommended treatments. Then a family friend recommended Nick. It was a night and day difference. Immediately, I had better doctors, coaching for going to so-called "independent medical exams," and actual responses from my company when we pushed to resolve my claim. Nick worked tirelessly for me for YEARS to make sure my case got the resolution and compensation the insurance company owed me for ruining my life. I have been disabled for 8 years, and every time they tried to shut off benefits or hire private detectives to stalk me or deny a recommended procedure, Nick was on top of them. The company I worked for and their self-insured insurance company wanted to sweep me under the rug and ride the claim out until I died or went away with my tail between my legs. Nick made sure that didn't happen, and my life can continue now because of his work. My claim has been accepted, my disability checks are coming in like they are supposed to, and I have great medical care. If you are like me: a proud, hard working blue collar person who just happened to fall into a bad set of circumstances, it isn't your fault and you aren't weak for getting the help you need. Nick Pontarolo is the help you need. If you are reading this, I assume you are looking for an injury lawyer. Don't hesitate. Call him as soon as you possibly can, before some insurance company turns you into a number and tries to push your case off until your injuries become permanent. If I could rewind time, I would have called him the same day I got injured, and you should too.
Nick got my case going and my treatment started. If it wasn’t for him I would be still dealing with the headache. Thanks for the help could not have chosen better
