I don't normally do reviews until all is said and done but, I have been so impressed by this office, I feel I need to. I hired Mr. Jones two months ago after firing my previous attorney. Mr. Jones has literally done more in two months than my former attorney did in three years!!! He actually keeps appointments, returns calls, and will look up things you need, even though they are out of his scope of practice to give you an idea of what can and can't be done. I may have to sell a kidney, due to the fact my case is very extensive but, as of now, he is proving to be worth it. His office staff are also amazing, friendly, and quick to help, also unlike my former attorney.

I would never recommend Derek Jones to handle a child custody case. Derek hides behind Christianity, and does not practice what he preaches. His experience in the courtroom is lacking. He allows opposing lawyers to bash his client, yet does not engage the opposition when they are on the stand. He is very timid. He took thousands of dollars from me and then failed to pursue the trial. Behind my back, Derek, the opposing attorney and even the judge decided the case would not be heard. Derek had me do all the work and this was for nothing. I lost my son and Derek has no decency to respond to a single question I sent him by email. If you are a man expect false promises, lots of preparation on your own and high legal bills with little chance of success in the courts. He is not experienced in family law like some locals that have practiced it for years in Hendersonville. I will never hire this man again to do anything regarding legal matters. If I would confront him on something, he would get very defensive and state "you do not trust me." This alone is unprofessional and why should anyone be trusted that lies. When I told him "would you trust someone that made a deal behind your back?, he stated "no." Well duh! This was the last time we spoke. Hire the man at your own expense/risk!
