He was very knowledgeable and fully researched our case and was able to successfully settle to satisfactory resolution. Very disappointing. Yes, Sam did get a settlement; but, there were periodic struggles throughout the 2.5 years. Furthermore, they had too little sense of urgency in getting the funds to clients once the defendant funded the settlement. Both partners need to sign the checks and one is rarely in the office creating multiple-day delays. The paralegal, in particular, is too focused on “policies and procedures” vs assisting the client. Essentially, this firm “snatched defeat from the jaws of victory.”

Samuel Dion has been patient with me. I am revising my review. I believe he is an attorney for the People and he has many cases to which he handles…but he does so in a way to help defend the Victim. His clients. He has won 4 cases of mine to which I am very grateful even though I do wish he had fought 1 of those cases harder he still did all he could for me. I wish this man much success and hope that these words show the true intent of attorney at law to those needing someone to fight the legal battles civilians are not equipped to handle. His office associates are very welcoming too..Ms. Jessica is someone that has stayed after hours to hand deliver a check which I could not cash but was very important to me and I apologize to Esquire Dion for any harmful words I used against him that hurt his feeling or reputation. I hired Sam when I was fired illegally back in 2020. Sam and I had a rocky start to our case but in the long run we got on the same page and prevailed. His influence is much appreciated along with his knowledge in his field. Sam was extremely diligent and understanding. I admit in the beginning it was tough with communicating but we cleaned that up together. I honestly believe that Sam cares for his clients and their cases. I highly recommend.

I honestly won't recommend hiring Samuel Dion as your lawyer. When I had my mediation he asked me very harshly why I haven't found a job yet even though I sent him hundreds of jobs I applied for with rejection letters. He made it seem like I purposely was trying not to get a job bc I was getting unemployment payments. During mediation the opposing side mention me collecting unemployment and Samuel never responded and said: “my client has been applying for work, look at all the applications submitted.” He made no efforts to try and get me more compensation even though I am suffering from PTSD and anxiety he didn't file for emotional distress. When I asked he said well it's all included and it's too late to file for that. Since I spoke to him months before mediation and I told him I have really bad anxiety and depression because of this situation but he ignored all my comments about how I can't sleep etc. He also told me during mediation that he had an appointment that he needed to attend implying that I need to make a decision and settled. I wanted to go to court and fight it but I felt like I had to settle because he said you'll get this amount if you settle. Every day I have to re-live what I went through at my ex-company. I can't even watch tv shows or movies that mention lawsuits and seeing that company’s name or work trucks triggers my PTSD but Samuel doesn't care because he got his share of the money and went his way while I suffer daily. I won't recommend this firm. Positive thing is that he good with communication and would respond right away to your emails and texts but doesn't care about helping you win all that is owed.

I can't say enough about Benson Goldberger. He has been representing me for the past 20 years due to a tragic fall from a roof at work.
