The week before contacting Disability Advocates Group , I swept the Internet looking for help with my disability claim..I found several but one to me stood out from the rest... reading reviews of their service led me to them. From the outset of my very first call to Disability Advocates Group looking for their assistance , Kim Engler answered the phone and I explained everything about me and my situation .. she put me at ease and explained roughly what was intailed with the process...She and Elle were professional , kind , compassionate and patient with me throughout the process... with any questions I had along the way , they Always answered the phone then or returned the call in a Very Timely Manner. These guys are awesome. To me, the whole process was simple. It took over a year. Communication was simple through emails and if I called with a question, it was answered. I got my approval answer over the phone the day of my hearing from the judge. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!!!!! THANKS KIM & ELLE .

I have to be honest I was very disappointed in the service provided. I spoke to Kim upon first call, received a packet in the mail which I returned, spoke to Kim again to clarify the forms and then did not hear back again (unless I reached out to them) until my claim was approved. Maybe I need more explanation than most but I was not provided clear, comprehensive guidance on what to expect, what the process was, or what to do during the waiting period. I learned more from Unum insurance (who contacted me monthly) than I did from DAG. Beyond submitting the forms for me, I honestly am not sure what DAG does or did or how they deserve payment.

Terrible personality over the phone. If she wasn’t so focused on hearing herself talk and actually listened, then maybe she would gather enough info to draw a conclusion. She would interject before giving me chance to respond to any screening questions and rushed me off the phone. Fortunately, I have found an attorney who states I do have a case. She also assumed I didn’t have the money to afford an estate attorney, based off nothing since she never gave me a chance to speak. My attorney stated this woman sounds completely incompetent regarding SSI laws/regulations and should not be in business.

They never returned my call. UPDATE: I returned a call from the message left here. She was helpful enough and gave me two numbers to call after being reprimanded for leaving the original review. Apparently they cannot help with a dispute, but can help with enrollment issues.

After being denied Disability twice, I hired Kim as my advocate! Let me tell you how amazing this woman is! Her and Elle were always so polite, even if I had a dumb question. They kept in contact while waiting for my court date! My only regret was not getting her sooner, and making my life a million times easier! Thank you Kim and Elle!
