Despite nearly all the reviews saying how negative this office is, I had nothing but a positive experience with them in complex healthcare matters. The individual I worked with was very educated, and went above and beyond what is expected. They played a significant role in my life in 2025, and some things in 2026 that overlapped with 2025. This is essentially the only state office that helped me with these matters, as everyone else was afraid or mishandled my issues. This is the only state office that truly helped, empathetic, and legally literally unlike other offices.

Told me that they only take the information and I would be contacted if they thought it was a systemic problem lol well it is believe me and I never got a call back

I never imagined I’d have to fight this hard just to be heard by an agency whose entire mission is to protect people like me. I’m a Deaf single mother of a nonverbal autistic child, and I reached out to Disability Rights Pennsylvania because every other system had failed us. I wasn’t asking for a miracle — I was asking for advocacy, for access, for someone to care enough to help us communicate and stay safe. Instead, my calls for help were met with silence. It took years and multiple emails before I even received a one-line acknowledgment that my grievance was “filed.” Meanwhile, my son and I have faced discrimination, homelessness, and ongoing denial of accommodations — all while DRP claimed to stand for justice and equality. As a former Justice-Related Services Coordinator, I know how important it is for people with disabilities to have a voice. But when even the advocacy agencies turn away, what chance do we have? DRP’s lack of follow-through doesn’t just delay paperwork — it endangers real families. If you are Deaf, autistic, or caring for someone with disabilities, please know that your voice matters. I only hope DRP begins living up to its mission — because people like us can’t afford to wait in silence any longer.

Disability Rights Pennsylvania – More Like Disability Retaliation Pennsylvania If you’re a disabled veteran, trauma survivor, or civil rights whistleblower—AVOID THIS PLACE like the plague. DRP ignored sealed trauma filings (Doc. 283), refused to intervene in ADA retaliation, and sat on their hands while Pennsylvania agencies weaponized suicide risk against me. I contacted them with a federal case backed by VA records, PHRC complaints, and sealed court filings confirming ADA Title II violations and psychiatric collapse. Their response? Silence. Total procedural abandonment. They were given metadata, trauma documentation, and direct notice of retaliation. Still nothing. DRP is not a protection agency — they are a bureaucratic firewall built to absorb complaints and protect the institutions harming you. I filed formal grievances and even gave them a chance to respond pre-litigation. They refused. That’s not advocacy — that’s complicity. If you’re expecting legal support, enforcement, or even basic decency from DRP, look elsewhere. They are part of the problem. 📌 Filed formal DOJ and OCR complaints against them. Federal lawsuit pending. 📢 Whistleblowers, beware. This is not a safe harbor.

Huge waste of time. Don't bother contacting them about disability issues because they won't do anything.
