If this firm has bad reviews it means they are doing a fantastic job and making sure people like myself get paid back by people who think they can just not pay their debts. This firm was diligent at helping me (their client) get money back from an account that just would not pay their debt. Thank you DLF for all that you did, I received my last & final payment just this month!
This company is full of scammers. They garnished my check and so I sent an earnings garnishment exemption notice. I called to see if they would apply what they garnished to whatever they claim I owe just to be done with all of this and they said they never received a payment from my employer. Meanwhile, I have the proof that my employer complied and sent them 4 payments. Then she said they sent the payments back. When I asked her when she said on the 19th. I asked the 19th of what? Keep in mind, it’s March. She has to be more specific about the 19th. She said the 19th of January. I asked her if she was able to provide proof that they sent the payments back because I’ve never received them and she said no, they don’t keep up with that kind of stuff. I asked to speak with someone over her, she put me back on hold and then hung up. This company is a scam.
This law firm sent my business a garnishment for someone who never worked for me. They did not do their homework to find out where this person works. They sent me papers with his Social Security number address name everything if I was a person that wanted to take advantage of this and was up to no good I would have all this person‘s information. I called them to tell them that this person never worked for me and they said if I didn’t fill out the papers, they would take legal action on me even though this person never worked for me. I felt this was very unprofessional and when I looked them up, they have a 1.2 rating if you need an attorney, I wouldn’t call these guys.
Takes a long time to receive a response. Also, they seem to be constantly behind, which leads to overdrafts and reimbursements. Also, if you overpay, they will not reimburse you unless it is over a certain amount. Brutal experience.
This company isn’t necessarily horrible. They are very easy to work with. But one thing that is bothersome is the lack of electronic paperwork tracking. 11/21 I electronically signed on adobe my agreement to the terms and the agreement for biweekly payments from Lindsay H. 12/19 I got a letter stating that I’m still being sued due to not making a written agreement. When I called 12/22 Lyla (I think that was her name) stated that I only signed the authorization to charge my card which has had two payments taken out already which was completely false. Upon reviewing both documents on adobe it clearly shows that I had indeed signed on 11/21 and that both forms were sent back to Lindsay. It should also be said that they do not answer their phones if you push option 3 or wait on the line, it takes up to 20 minutes for someone to answer. If you push option 1 for judges and courts you get connected immediately. This company would benefit from more customer service training.
Never answer the phone.
I was in a car accident recently and was unable to pay for a couple weeks and was in contact to try and tell them I could pay what I missed, but because I was in an accident I didn't have the funds right away. They are not willing to work with you. Don't get stuck dealing with these people. They will make your life miserable!!!
Do not pay this law firm through them go to the court website and pay. For some reason my payments that I've sent aren't being reported to the court.
Terrible, terrible ,terrible. Stay far away!!! Whatever you owe, pay it and stay the hell away from dealing with them. Terrible customer service, never answers the phone and will garnish you when an error is on them. Terrible!!!!!
They don't have any trouble calling you 3 times a day, but they can't answer their phone or return a call. I paid them in full, and waiting almost a month for proof from them that it's settled. Guess I'll just show the court the transaction where they took my payment. That's my experience. Pester a widow to death as if she hasn't suffered enough.
They also screwed me over but they picked the wrong one today. File complaints with the attorney general of the state and also against the lawyer personally. The Office of Lawyer Regulation handles lawyer complaints while the attorney general will get your money back. Then you can sue them under FDCPA they are used to screwing people over so if you file your complaints we will get something done.
This place is full of it! I paid the debt they are allegedly saying I owe and provided proof of payment, the lawyer that reviewed it said it was for a different account!! That is a lie at its self! I only had one account with the company and it was paid even though I provided proof of payment they are continuing to garnish me! On top of that they had a class action lawsuit against them for fraudulently taking people money and garnishing them! They should be out of business like ASAP! So to court we go!
They never answer the phone or call you back. When they do call back you are on hold for 35 mins and then get disconnected and have to call back. Then when you call back on hold again. They never send any paper work about the collection or the terms. I have paid 2700 on a 7000 collection and my balance was s still over 5600. Was finally told they are charging interest on my collection. They don’t care if you go homeless or can’t pay any of your other bills you have.
They never sent the cancellation to my work, I had to force them to email it to my job and now they refuse to return just shy of 1k in over payment they received that my job and I proved. They wont answer or return calls or emails.
