I just want to say that Caroline went above and beyond helping me through this situation. I've never had to do anything like this before Caroline was there for me every time I called and answered all my questions and concerns. My experience with the lawyer DM lawyer, like everyone else's, started off well. She offered everything and explained everything. The accident happened at work on a farm that only employs people brought from Mexico on work visas, plus one or two native-born Americans to avoid discrimination. The accident occurred during a period of ice work. I was sent to do maintenance work for men. They opened feeders for pig feed. There was a lot of ice in the work area. I followed protocols and asked if there was appropriate clothing and shoes for the job. A supervisor said no, just wear your own clothes and go do the work. Supervisors and leaders knew this. Well, I fell and slipped on the ice, injuring my lower back. I couldn't walk. I had continuous and severe pain for six months. I lost my job, was injured, and couldn't do anything heavy or lift anything heavy. My daily life is no longer the same. The lawyer only contacted me once she had the client. After that, I had no contact with her. There was another person providing information for her, answering my questions and calls four or four times. Five days later, at the end of the lawsuit and discussions with the other company, they only offered $16,000 plus $4,000 in attorney fees. My payment was $12,370. The pregnant attorney never reported that she was on maternity leave, and she never informed the client that someone else would be taking over the case. I was left with a bad back. The doctor the plaintiff's company assigned said it was a lower back pain, and he only saw me twice for 15 minutes each time. The long wait in the office was even longer; once I waited 1.5 hours, so I canceled and left. Many people are now telling me I was scammed.
