I haven’t had the opportunity to avail myself of his services, (hence three stars) and honestly, I hope I never do. However, Jim is a cycling enthusiast which means he intimately understands both the law as well as what we face on the roads each day as road cyclists. For these reasons, I believe he is well equipped to stand in court as my advocate, and if I ever need his services, I’ll call him first.

I was hit by a car while riding my bike 4 months ago and suffered significant damage to my entire right arm (wrist, elbow, humerous, shoulder, ligaments). Once my surgeon confirmed the damage was worse than I initially anticipated, my ride group encouraged me to reach out to Jim Dodson, as he and his team support the cycling community in Florida. I have been working with Joe, Judi, and Kati and they have been exceptional in guiding me through this process. Judi got the job done with an email to Geico and a follow up phone call. It's unfortunate that car insurance companies only respond to Lawyer letterheads. The Geico adjusters, Danielle Liles and Patrick Miller were prompt in the beginning, but them used excuses, (email address not used anymore and misfiling of my account) to skirt retuning my emails and phone calls, exasperating the situation. I was involved in an automobile vs bicycle hit and run accident. Jim and his paralegal, Judi, whom was assigned my case, were very on top of things. I received daily/weekly communication by email(my preference choice). The case was settled technically with 8 weeks of my accident by my car insurance, but due to medical treatments and billing being adjusted, I received money 8 months later. I dealt with Judi 99% of the time. When Jim told me she would be incredibly efficient and very on top of things, he was not kidding! It was an outstanding experience and I will not hesitate using them again if the need arises.
