Denise is in my opinion one of the best you can get. She has helped me with so many things through out my case from helping me to understand everything to correcting my paperwork when courts filed things wrong. Helping me get deals that worked for me and my lifestyle and anything I’ve needed she’s always helped me find solutions. I hired Denise to represent my boyfriend in criminal case. They had filed habitual offender on him and I knew if convicted he would probably spend the rest of my life in prison. Denise was able to take apart the case piece by piece until there was nothing left for the state to do except dismiss the charges and they did. When we saw her in action in the court room at the first PTR hearing (which she won) we both said we knew we hired the right person for his case. We were never let down from start to finish by Denise. We thank God for her everyday. Without her expertise in law I don't know where my man would be headed today and I hate to think about it. I would recommend the Denise Turner law firm to anyone who asked.

Hired Denise for a modification. Her assistant Monica was very friendly at first. They strung us along for months, pushing back court dates for their own personal reasons. Monica went from friendly to extremely unprofessional when we questioned some things that didn't seem right. They eventually quit my case just before we were finally supposed to go to court date and kept all the money that was paid to them. In the 7-8 months that they were (supposed to be) working for us we never once got to speak to Denise nor did she ever go before the judge. So they got a free payday from us that we couldn't afford to begin with. There was a lot more shady things that happened in that time but I don't think I have the space on here to detail it all. Save yourself the time and money and avoid Denise and Monica at all costs!
Got the pleasure to work with this firm specifically Monica Conley who did a phenomenal job for me. I had prior representation which I didn’t feel like was putting their best foot forward on my behalf so I hired Monica and right away she went to work and got me results and showed me the effort that she was putting in. Within a month she was able to get me a modification off of house arrest. My family and I are very grateful that she was able to pull this off for me.
The worst experience with a lawyer. We paid what they asked, and it took 8 months before she started working on our case. No one answers when I call and no one returns a call when I would leave voicemails. Over a year later she said she was not going to following through on the case. Quick to take our money and slow to do any work, and in my case ZERO work. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND.
Denise and her assistant Monica are very unprofessional she and her assistant treats people like they are beneath them. She takes your money and doesn't listen to her clients. She takes your money even when she knows that she is unable to win your case, and tries to belittle you when you point out her mistakes. Hire her at your own risk.
If I could give no star, I would because that’s just what Denise Turner law practice deserves!! Denise was hired to represent my 18-year-old son at the time and failed him drastically as his counsel. I suggest that everyone take reviews very seriously and research the attorney that you are obtaining. This attorney pretend to have a strong defense when it comes to criminal cases. My son had a criminal case and was misled by this attorney Denise, she made false promises and made up time frames which lead to my son to take an open plea to get 35 years in prison after she was paid 20,000 She walked him into a blind plea blind. If in fact Denise was a good attorney she would have NEVER allowed her client to sign something like that. At my child sentencing, she failed to acknowledge grandparents, parents aunts and uncles that were there to speak on behalf of my child. She wrote an awful memo to the judge, full of lies. She and her assistant Monica told my son that if he basically said that he had this horrible childhood the judge would be lenient on him in sentencing. Remember this is after she got in his ear to sign a blind plea ! Everything went so fast, and when we asked her, why didn’t she acknowledges family to speak at the sentencing, she said that would have went against everything that SHE put in the memo .. just wow!! To and insult to injury the memo was all negative lies and disgusting things she made up from my sons childhood. The behavior that this attorney has represented is a disgrace, and it is disgusting. People please do not hire her. She is not a defense attorney. In fact she is a prosecutors assistant that should be her title. She will sell you out with a plea deal. If you let her. By my son being over 18 I couldn’t make the decision for him, do I repeat do your research on this Attorney she is not a strong attorney, she is very weak, she’s sloppy and she is lazy. I am not saying this because of what happened but because it is the God’s honest truth and in the end, God will give her what she deserves! God will prevail!! **Extended review response *** People lawyers go to school to learn how to lie good. I am a truck driver with a trucking business. my wife has a nail business and degree in nursing now just why in the hell would we need these people to buy food and clothes for our son!! I will say the previous attorney was definitely disbarred as the attorneys was caught up in his own bs, but to say he did nothing on his case were your words ma’am and we did receive part of our money back which was apart of your payment. my son would never need clothes or food from you or your Paralegal even though he did mention Monica purchase him a hot cart once before which had my wife and i raise an eyebrow . This long out drawn heartfelt message you posted lies again was a good try. I have added a screenshot to show that you never brought my son anything to ware he has hell of good clothes and shoes in fact you never returned the high price clothes I brought for my son to go to court in. as far as hot carts we can upload the whole dang Itinerary of hot carts he received from me and my wife every day. I will not address the bs details regarding anything you claim happened in court which again shows your unprofessionalism to justify to the public you did a great job. I will say this people please read reviews i am not the only parent who feels this way about denise actions when representing their family member. I guess I just made the mistake of not catching her on bs earlier in the game as the grandmother who also wrote a review expressing her concern and frustration when misrepresented by this attorney, telling her grandson’s business to other without a consent as she tried the same thing in this untruthful review she wrote about my son trial in a review, just wow!! Also my son was just 18 yrs at the time you mentioned saying he was 19, he’s now 20. This is a shame the extent people will go to justify wrong doing.
When your son's mother came to me and told me that the other lawyer she had hired had done nothing on the case and had neglected her 19 year old son, it tugged at my heartstrings. I agreed to take the case at a significantly reduced rate, knowing the family had been failed before. I suppose this was my mistake. That care and understanding ended up in hundreds of hours of work for her son, who was charged with murder. Long jail visits on the weekends, several meetings with the family at their request, and even hot carts sent to your son out of my paralegal's own pocket were things that were provided to you and your son. <br><br>After a thorough review of countless records, and other discovery it was painfully obvious that the State had an overwhelming amount of evidence that would easily convince a jury that your son was guilty of murder. This was discussed with both you and your son's family at length several times. Your son wanted to fight the charge, so we fought. i even paid for nice clothes for him to wear for trial out of my own pocket. I was surprised that the jury in his case was unable to reach a verdict after having heard evidence over two days. I was not surprised, however, when I learned the vote was 11 for guilty and 1 for not guilty. The writing was on the wall as I explained to you, your family, and your son. I feared this 19 year old kid would end up convicted of murder and sentenced to serve no less than 60 years, given the senseless of the crime. But I was able to convince the prosecutor to give an offer to a lesser charge of conspiracy, NOT murder. Instead of a 60 year sentence, your son received 35. The offer was conveyed to your son and he was given ample time to consider whether he wanted to go to trial again or accept the offer. Whether a client pleads guilty is entirely up to the client. With good behavior and time cuts, he could be out by the time he is just over 40. I am sorry this greatly reduced outcome, given what he was facing, the evidence against him, and the likely outcome at another jury trial (which the family was not charged for) was disappointing to you. Rest assured, my paralegal and I will continue to go above and beyond for our clients, even though we cannot save everyone. I will, however, be more cautious next time in accepting a case based solely on the desire to help a family and a young person in need. It sounds like you would have been more satisfied with his previous lawyer (who was suspended by the bar and never gave any refunds). <br><br>I do hope any future clients do their research on me as they will find that I am a hard-working, caring attorney, with a paralegal who is just as dedicated to the work. I continue to win cases in both trial and appellate courts, negotiate greatly reduced sentences, and spend my weekends serving others, not just myself. I am an experienced trial lawyer who does more than what's asked or needed. I may not litigate the way someone with no experience thinks I should, but I do so to the benefit of all my clients. My firm pays for all jail calls and jury clothes. My staff and I often work nights and weekends. We do this because we care. That's the "God's honest truth."

Denise Turner was hired for $17,000 to represent my grandson for his first offense and told him that he is a menace to society. She told him that she will not ask or even try to get him a litter sentence. He was a 17 year old kid who made a mistake and is willing to pay his debt to society but after she told him that he is a menace to society and she wasn’t going to fight for him, he fired her. Now he has a public defender who is fighting for him and he isn’t paying him a penny. Now if he is getting a better deal then what Denise Turner was offering that should say a lot about her. She is also telling other people without his consent about his case. From what I understand, that is illegal. She has no right to talk about his case to anybody except him unless he gives her his permission ( which he has not ). If anyone is thinking about hiring Denise Turner to fight for you, you should maybe get yourself a public defender because they will probably get you a much better deal, just saying.
