I hired Mr Duwel for a sexual harassment and wrongful termination case. Paid him upfront. He claimed he would file papers with a state agency against my previous employer. That never happened. He made a settlement offer without even discussing it with me. I terminated his services. He said he would look into how many hours he put into my case and see if he could refund any of my money. He sent a couple of emails and made a couple of phone calls. Needless to say, I haven’t seen and dime. Really didn’t think I would. TOTAL WASTE OF MY MONEY. I now understand why he wants his money up front instead of working on a percentage.

I’ve worked with Dave twice over the past several years, and both experiences have been excellent. Each exchange was easy, fast, and effective. The entire process was handled with professionalism and care. Dave communicated clearly, kept things moving efficiently, and achieved the results I needed both times. I’m very pleased with the outcomes and appreciate how straightforward he makes everything. I’ll absolutely use his services again in the future and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and reliable attorney.

I needed a lawyer to review a lengthy employment contract and David was quick to respond to my inquiry. He followed up with me as I was headed to vacation out of the country when I first inquired and within a few days of me be being back in town he had my contract read and spent an hour going over it with me. He advised me on what I should attempt to negotiate, what seemed fair, and explained any legal jargon I didn't understand. He charged me exactly what he quoted me he would.

Just dropped my case and wouldn’t reply or call me back.

Dave Duwel is beyond unprofessional. He kept taking calls and leaving the consult to talk on the phone. He did not follow up with my employer as stated and did not respond to any of my phone calls or emails. The secretary kept trying to cover for him and eventually stopped answering and kept his voicemail on full. I've never seen such unprofessionalism. He only wants to collect the $100 fee! Awful experience and definitely wrong choice! for representation. I only put 1 star because there isn't an option to select 0 stars!

I thought Mr. Dewell would help me with my employment problem! He told me he would fight, gave me hope, then stopped taking my calls. I still don’t know why. Do not trust Mr. Dewell he will leave u high and dry like me! (Reyes)

Very disorganized and not a good advocate for your employment rights. I found myself repeating details more than once and initiating any and all communications. After the fees it was barely worth it. Look elsewhere to find someone who works for you.

David helped me with Roofing and Siding dispute he really took care of the situation and I am SOOOO greatful and I Highly recommend him.

David is a likeable guy, that's why I hired him. Unfortunately David wasn't able to do anything for me, despite my former employers breach of contract and willfully withholding evidence in a federal investigation exposing myself and co-workers to a lethal carcinogen and lying about it; David refunded my retainer. I still don't understand how this case is not legally viable, Godspeed David.

Attorney Heather Duwel-Mehl is very unprofessional and novice to say the least. She embarrasses her clients with her loud outbursts in the courtroom. She will create any unethical tactic to win over the case. She is a horrible person and not even close to a mediocre attorney.
