I highly recommend John as a lawyer. He is extremely professional and very personable. He was available to answer any and all of my questions immediately. Any time I emailed him he would call me immediately. 5 stars given and I still contact him with questions and he is still there for me immediately. Thanks again John

This is in response to John Gause reply to the review left by Pow Pow. John Gause will never admit that he oversaw a decision made by The Human Rights Commission, of which he was Chief Counsel for, that openly discriminated against a disabled individual who was, and continued to be bullied and retaliated against by law enforcement in Maine. A decision that was based on an individual not looking disabled enough to justify that law enforcement personnel aggressively confronted, for being in a handicapped parking spot. John Gause knew, same as the business and the cops who treated said individual in such a manner, that they were, and are still wrong, because said business, Sugarloaf Mountain, hosts the Special Olympics, every year. Of which not all disabled people, as all these conspirators know, not all are in wheelchairs or use assistive devices. John Gause was, and always has been, in collution with both the business, and law enforcement there, that discriminated and broke several laws. John Gause is not here to fight for your rights, he is only here to cover his own neck and prosper for doing so.

I highly recommend John Gause for your legal matters. Mr. Gause worked diligently on a case for me and he was always professional, kind, honest, beyond knowledgeable, and there were never any unforeseen charges. I would always call or email him literally over the little things and he would always promptly answer my phone calls and emails whether he was in the office or not. John Gause always made me feel like a priority and never a bother. I highly recommend Mr. John Gause to my friends and to anyone looking for an outstanding lawyer!

I recently had the pleasure of having John Gause represent me. He came highly recommended by a large law firm, after it was determined I would be best served by John's expertise and experience. John took the time to fully understand the specifics of my case and carefully researched for all pertinent details. He was always quick to respond to inquiries from me, and explained complex issues in a way that was easy to understand. He was thorough, ethical, and fair in the presentation of facts surrounding my case, and always made certain I was comfortable with how to proceed. I strongly recommend John Gause and Eastern Maine Law for representing your individual rights.

Having interviewed with several attorneys about my legal concerns and being accepted by a few I did my homework and found John, my case took quite some time, I lived out of state making my case difficult at times, John left no rock upturned, always returned my many phone calls and emails promptly putting my concerns to rest, I sometimes love to tell a story and he knew how to reign me in and keep me focused, yet still be sympathetic and supportive at the same time. John prepared me for upcoming stressful depositions and at all times I knew he was on my side believing in me. His staff was courteous and helpful, I never felt neglected or ignored. I came away from my case feeling I had found not only a great attorney but a new friend. I would recommend John's practice for anyone in need of representation he is as honest as the day is long and I say this from experience.

Despite John Gause being former Chief Counsel for the Human Rights Commission, this man is a crook and discriminates against disabled individuals. He is part of a known 'connection' between law enforcement and corporations, of which he will deny your case to suit his own purposes. Beware of this man, and do not waste your time or sensitive information with him. He is the very definition of corruption in the judicial process.

Response from owner

Dear Pow Pow,
Although you have not been a client, we make it a top priority to treat all people courteously, fairly, and professionally. We also hold ourselves to the highest ethical standards. Far from being connected to law enforcement, we regularly bring cases against them on behalf of our clients, many of whom are people with disabilities.
John Gause
