This man is a complete joke. He didn't show up to court for a hearing, never reached out about the case. I would never recommend this arrogant guy to anyone. He doesn't even answer his phone calls

Mr. Eddie sipplen was hired to represent me in a case regarding akron police department. I called for assistance for my minor child & the police officer assigned assaulted my son several times using unnecessary force..I called the officer out & he decided to falsely accuse me of assault to a peace officer, obstruction & resisting arrest in which none of these situations occurred.. Mr. SIPPLEN held on to my body cam footage & necessary documents in which I submitted to him in his hands upon hiring him, he is very unprofessional, he doesn't return calls or keep you updated on your case . I went to his office because he was not returning my calls in which I waited over a week..He was very rude & unapologetic & sent me away.. The next day I received a letter from him with only the body cam drive stating he would no longer represent me.. EDDIE SIPPLEN IS ABOUT THE MIGHTY DOLLAR.. HE DOESN'T CARE ABOUT ANYTHING ELSE..THAT WAS OBVIOUS TO ME BECAUSE FOR ME & HIM FIGHTING THIS CASE SHOULD BE ABOUT PROTECTING CIVIL RIGHTS & STANDING ON THE SIDE OF TRUTH & JUSTICE..I CANT GET HIRED IN MY FIELD DUE TO THESE FALSE ALLEGATIONS ON MY RECORD AS DISMISSED BECAUSE THE GRAND JURY HAD NO EVIDENCE BACKING THE OFFICERS STATEMENTS.. IF YOU WANT SOMEONE PASSIONATE & REALLY INTERESTED IN YOUR WELL BEING, JUSTICE & TRUTH ! DO NOT HIRE EDDIE SIPPLEN!

I can not comment on the negative reviews from others but my experience is that he was straight forward with giving me great advice on a legal battle. His fees are a bit costly.

So I had an appointment at 9am. I’ve currently been standing here for 20 minutes waiting and nobody is at the office. I live in canton and his office is in Akron. Took time off of work to meet with this man and HE DOESNT EVEN SHOW UP!! No call no nothing, just no showed! The level of unprofessionalism is beyond comprehension. I was referred to him by a family member who praised this man for his professionalism. Glad all this was was a consultation because of I had to PAY for this treatment….just ridiculous!!!

Pick, incompetent or corrupt...did not deposition anyone, did not request pertinent supporting documention (from school or mds that require the request come from the attorney)...he was verbally abusive, arrogant, and judgemental. He went to court 1 time to request another date, talked over me, talked me down, and then read to me for 2hrs, then showed on a court date I was not aware of to withdraw as council. He of course felt entitled to the entire 5,000 retainer. Do not use ever, for anything requiring council.
