I retained Benjamin Hamlet to settle my military divorce. He was very responsive and answered all of my questions. All of my emails to him and the team were answered promptly. If I requested a phone call, he would call me back. My case was resolved quickly, and I did not have to appear in court. He sent all necessary paperwork to all parties including the court. I'm pleased with the service I received. I would definitely recommend Mr. Hamlet to anyone needing services provided by Edge Law.

Edge Law Firm is the best most competent and straight forward places you can hire period. Kathleen Edge got done what other inexperienced Lawyers couldn't get done in over 2 years. She got it done in just a few months at a fraction and I mean fraction of the cost. Not meaning She's cheap because Lawyers are not cheap especially good ones and you get what you pay for. I’ve worked in the law-enforcement field for 40 years now , worked even in the court system but never seen a law firm like the Edge Firm , my attorney was Ben Hamlet he was very knowledgeable very kind considerate and it felt like a friend was helping me not a lawyer. He did a fantastic job , I can’t say anything negative whatsoever about Ben Hamlet or the Edge law firm , I would recommend them for any need you may have …..call them first , I know I will.

I hired Damien Garcia to represent me in a request for visitation with my grandson. The case could actually not have gone worse. He spoke for about 2 mins and I never spoke. I walked out never being able to see him again and it only cost me 10k. I would question any estimate on an outcome in court by him. It is really too bad that they don't get paid for the job done. If you are thinking of hiring someone to represent you in a family law case, I would say think very hard about that decision.

My experience working with Damian was positive. He provided me with the knowledgeable information relevant to my case and was always available and responsive to questions I had throughout the entire process. I unfortunately have dealt with an unpleasant divorce and custody situation for about 5 years. I went through 3 different attorneys in the Richmond/Northern Neck area. With none of my interests really being taken care of and a whole lot of things happening to me in court that no one else had even heard of (presumably because I’m a man.) My ex decided to move to Virginia Beach and took my little one with her. Our case being transferred to Virginia Beach, I had no clue who to call there for representation. This has to be the most disgusting law practice I’ve ever come across. Unprofessional and disrespectful in every way. As much as I wanted to give them the benefit of doubt, they only got worse with my every attempt to allow them to make things right. If you’re looking for legal help please don’t ever think twice about their services. You’ll be highly disappointed! Everything went great up until I paid my retainer. From there I was placed on the back burner constantly. Wasted my money. I could’ve used that retainer fee for a better law firm!

Worth every penny! I had originally interviewed and while I was extremely impressed, I balked at the price. I went somewhere cheaper where they ended up charging me just as much for very little and making me feel like they weren't acting with my best interests in mind. I came back to Edge Law and bit the bullet and have been very happy with the excellence, professional conduct, and the relief from knowing that I have someone in my corner that is looking out for my best interests. Ben Hamlet has done what seemed impossible. As of today, I am divorced with full custody of all 3 of my children and no visitation for their abusive mother. The divorce was nasty and Mr. Hamlet was the last man standing after the opposing council withdrew, the GAL council withdrew, and even the original judge retired. This man was actually assaulted in the courthouse by my kids mom and stayed with me even afterwards. This lawyer is very strategic and focuses his efforts where they need to be. He is careful not to waste time and resources to save money and efforts. My kids would probably be dead if it weren't for him. I can't thank him enough. He was an answer to prayer.

I had so many "layers" of background and circumstances involved with my case. There was no evidence to base the false charges that were brought against me and I was the one who insisted that my case go to trial. I was found not guilty.
