My partner and I had our simple wills drafted by Atty Burt. My partner passed away. I needed to change the beneficiary and executrix on my will. Atty Burt wanted to charge me the same amount I paid for the initial will. Too much. Only 2 pieces of information needed to be updated. I know this process takes about 10 minutes. I know they have software that streamlines this process. My advise, do your simple will yourself, online or buy the software. In CT you just need 2 people to witness it. You don't have to have it notarized although this does help speed up probate.
