Ed was the most frustrating attorney I’ve ever worked with. He is incredibly outdated with technology. You email him simple questions and, instead of replying, he sends you a physical letter with USPS two weeks later. He was so unresponsive that I literally started emailing the opposing counsel myself. They asked if I was still represented by him. Ed didn’t even respond to THAT email!!! Even the judge had to tell him to stop filing things on paper and use electronic filing. During a Zoom hearing, his laptop kept freezing, wouldn’t share the screen, and died in the middle of the hearing. That’s fine, issues happen! but he didn’t have a freaking charger!!!! Unfortunately, his legal expertise are not any better. He literally didn’t participate in any discovery!!! I spent hours organizing all the evidence into a document for him. When the actual meeting happened, he didn’t know the case well enough to speak, so I ended up representing myself while he sat silently. The only thing he said was asking the opposing party not to talk about the past, which gave the deciding board the illusion that my past was so dark. WE LOST within minutes!!! I called his office for two weeks, just to inform him that we had lost. I HAD TO TELL HIM THAT WE LOST! He didn’t know! When we later filed a lawsuit, the complaint he drafted was broad, vague, and missing key elements. I literally rewrote the entire facts section myself. All he had to do was to connect the facts to the correct legal theories—maybe a page or two of work— TOOK HIM THREE MONTHS. Two months later, when the defendants moved to dismiss, I learned that Ed hadn’t cited the right laws. So what did he do during those 3 months? Idk!! In some sections, he hadn’t cited ANY LAWS. We had to amend the complaint twice, and he billed me for fixing his own mistakes both times. Surprising that even the second amended complaint had procedural mistakes because Ed hadn’t researched the law enough. His mistakes were so severe that I ended up personally dismissing some of my claims myself. His errors caused my case to bounce from state to federal court and back again. After waisting a full year with him, I looked into his history and found that he had lost similar cases for basic procedural mistakes. In one case, he had sued the WRONG PARTY!!!! In another case, he hadn’t exhausted internal remedies!!!! I scheduled a consult with other attorneys to receive a second opinion, he got mad that I had not trusted him and withdrew from the case right before Christmas break. Guess what? I retained another attorney after Ed and was informed that my whole case was filed in the wrong court and the way Ed had filed it, we were set to lose anyways. The new attorney sent me a copy of Ed’s filings and that’s when I realized that he had never formally responded to the motion to dismiss! Just avoid him. IF I could, I would rate him 0!

If I could give 0 stars I would. He is so rude. Has like no compassion or comprehension of certain situations. Hardly even tried to understand anything. Absolutely not. I literally hung up on the guy I’ve never spoken to a lawyer so rude and irritated over nothing. Would not recommend even calling this guy.

Horrible lawyer I had years ago. Told me don't smile don't cry don't speak. Since speaking with the judge that would've made a difference. Cheap, terrible lawyer. He cuts deals. Save your money by cut your own deal. Worst lawyer ever in history. 4.3 my butt. More like 1 star top s

Ed is a fantastic attorney. He helped me with a situation with my HOA and I couldn't recommend him more.
