I hired Mr. Jane’s for a few different cases. An he did an out standing job. I would recommend him for any other legal issues I would have in the future. Too bad he had to relocate. I give him 5 stars.!!

Would not recommend!!!! He seemed very legit after the consultation, but it felt almost as if the opposing side had payed him instead! He even recorded wrong information on my husbands case!!!! This guy either operates with extreme bias or has no clue what he’s actually doing and needs continuing education to stay up to date for lawyers! I would strongly urge anyone looking for legal representation to use any other attorney in La Porte or Michigan City ahead of this firm unless you’ve exhausted ALL of your other options and he is the last legal representative on the planet.

Hired him for an uncontested divorce. He put another couple’s names on the court papers so the divorce took longer because the papers needed corrected. And since it is very difficult to reach Mr. Janes, the process took that much longer. He also did not keep track of my payments, so I had to present him with receipts to prove I was paid in full. When the divorce finally went through, the papers still contained another couple’s names. Fortunately, the divorce is still final, so at the end of the day, things worked out. But if you’re looking for a legal advocate whom you can trust to get the work done without having to always check up on, I don’t recommend this one.

I hired Mr Janes for a debt collection. The process took nearly 3 years! If I hadn't kept calling and emailing him - nothing would have happened. I was very disappointed with his efforts. But - he already had my money, so I was stuck. Didn't return emails. Ignored phone messages. I cannot recommend Mr. Janes' services.

hired mr. janes for a criminal defense matter earlier this year and the outcome was actually better than what I was hoping for (which is almost never the case in these things) his fees were very reasonable would recommend to anyone

I called 20 times and stopped in at least 10 trying to get part of my retainer back since I didn't pursue the case with no luck I do recommend using Edward Jane's as an lawyer

My boyfriend recommended him to pursue a custody issue I decided not to to go through with the matter after one four way meeting after paying Mr Jane's $1200 after numerous phone calls with no response I finally got a letter saying that I owed almost $300 more in attorney fees he couldn't even find the two payments I gave him I had to take copies of my bank statements in after more than year he refuses to refund any money and said he would call it even
