I hired this firm to represent me in a wrongful termination matter. The initial consultation and pre-litigation demand letter were well written and gave me confidence moving forward. I chose to pay for pre-litigation services because the attorney explained that, in his view, the risk-to-reward balance was in my favor. Given the attorney’s experience, I expected a more strategic approach to the demand amount. The demand significantly exceeded what is commonly covered by employer deductibles, and opposing counsel responded with an immediate refusal. From that point forward, I consistently had to reach out myself to ask about next steps. Each time, the response was some version of, “they don’t have to respond, reply, or settle,” without meaningful discussion of alternative strategies, adjustments, or escalation options. Communication and follow-through did not meet my expectations, and I did not feel actively guided or advocated for once resistance was encountered. While the case began with promise, the lack of proactive strategy and direction ultimately left me questioning the value of the pre-litigation representation. Anyone considering this firm should strongly consider seeking counsel elsewhere or, at a minimum, obtaining multiple opinions before deciding who to retain.
