Great experience with Colton Theer. He was professional, knowledgeable, and kept me informed throughout the whole process. He explained everything clearly and worked hard to get the best outcome for my case. I highly recommend them to anyone needing reliable legal help.
Mario performed some awesome work for me over the time I got to know him! He will always have my reference!
garbage law firm. One consultation meeting is all it takes to recognize they don't know anything about what they're doing And they don't even seek to fight for the client just to get big profits $365 To tell me that I would have to hire a Mobile Device Forensic Examiner to prove my ridiculous telephonic so-called text message harassment charges were faked by the "yes" Narcissistic former partner but More importantly My daughter's mother. What's happening here is beyond ridiculous. My child's mother had all of her alleged charges against me thrown out from child abuse tossed out easy restraining order DISCOVERED TO BE ALL LIES AS WELL BY THE JUDGE. And then she tried to get contempt because you know that's what narcs do. This attorney went ahead and said who are you to call somebody a narcissist are you a doctor jump in the gun undermining the intellect of the person sitting across the table for him he was supposed to represent allegedly. Either they're out for the consultation money alone or they just want to settle things quickly and get it off their docs and make quick cash instead of doing their jobs. People that know the law have to listen to these guys try to tell you that this is how it works! Stay away from this group.
Mario Riquelme helped us with 2 different motor vehicle accident cases over the last few years. Our cars and body’s didn’t make it unscathed, but he helped to get us a fair settlement both times. We very much recommend working with Mario.
Colton was absolutely amazing to work with. He is extremely knowledgeable, and it was very apparent that he was wanting to do what was best for me. Highly recommend!
Great Job! Colton listed to my story, formulated a plan and saw his plan unfold into a successful conclusion. aI I was very satisfied.
Always made me feel welcomed and made sure I understood what was going on throughout my case. Mario was really great!
Brian Allen was a pretty terrible lawyer. Unprofessional, wasted my time, botched my case and likely cost me lots of money/results down the line after I had to hire a new lawyer to fix the mistakes he made (or things he just let go poorly out of lazyness). I understand there's a lawyer shortage in central Oregon, but, I would at minimum not use Brian Allen at this firm.
This law firm is a joke. I showed up on time to my consultstion that they made me wait a week to schedule only to be left in the conference room for 20 minutes. I was offered water after a long day of work and never recieved it. My wife, who made the appointment and was also seeking council for her own accident, was not allowed with me in the room during the consult. When Mario finally showed up I thought he was an assistant because he was so poorly dressed for a practicing lawyer (baggy jeans and wrinkled shirt on a wednesday afternoon). He did nothing to acknowledge my wife's existance in the waiting room then proceeded to tell me I needed to basically stalk the at-fault party (a Class A misdemeanor) and get a photo of their drivers license in order to take my case. This is not only illegal, but unnecissary in the state of Oregon (see screenshots of the simple google searches for this information). He essentially wanted me to do all the work for my case and only appears to be interested in "easy money" suits. Hire this firm at your own risk. I am glad they showed their true colors so I didn't waste more of mine and my wife's time or money. 2-21-2025 update on review. I am a security forces veteran of the united states air force. My entire job was serving the community as a police officer responding to various incidents including motor vehicle accidents and paying attention to detail so other peolpe didnt die. First of all I feel like my character is being questioned over a bottle of water. I feel like i would know whether i received a bottle of water after being offered and never received. So either you're calling me stupid or a liar, interesting. Secondly, after reviewing ORS 811.705, i found that i followed all state of oregon laws following a motor vehicle accident. As you will see in the multiple screen shots i have provided while, this firm has called me a liar about two things now and provided zero proof that they were helpful what so ever. I have never been treated this way by a practicing law firm. I have retianed a lawyer, from this town, that cost me upwards of $75,000. I feel like i know what a good attorney looks like. I have even retained a lawyer from albuquerque new mexico that was able to help me in a motor vehicle accident. I was the injured passenger with only a photo of the other drivers insurance info in a city bigger than Bend Oregon. They were able to prove fault and reward me $12,000 for medical expenses and pain and suffering. That also means my attorney received the sum of $12,000. Is your firm not interested in claims easier than that, i guess not. I fail to see how i did anything wrong. The way i have been and continue to be treated by this firm as, they question my character and my ability to follow state laws, is absolutely appauling. At this point you are one of the worst law firms I have ever had the displeasure of wasting my time for. I will be requesting a meeting with your entire team shortly if you ever wish to rectify this review and treat the people who seek your "proffessional" council with the respect they deserve. Maybe dont call "prospective" clients liars over a bottle of water and deny asking a client to show up to the other parties house and harrass the other party for their proof of identification. Any person in their right mind would tell the other party to hire a lawyer, which i tried to do with this trash firm.
To address Mr. Crisp’s review:

Unfortunately, there is very high demand for legal services in Central Oregon. As a matter of course, upon request for a consultation, our firm offers the first available time slot for which the appropriate attorney is available and which works for the client. This is usually a few days out from when the consultation is sought. There is nothing unusual about this in the legal community, and in fact many firms have wait times of weeks or months before an initial consultation can be made. Upon arrival at our firm, the client is greeted and offered water or coffee as was done with this prospective client. The prospective client is then asked to fill out intake documentation which must then be reviewed and screened for conflicts; this process can take 15-20 minutes as happened in this case. Once the case has been screened, the attorney will meet with the client to make an initial evaluation. In this case, Mr. Crisp met with attorney Mario Riquelme for a free consultation. It should be noted that Mr. Riquelme does dress informally on days he does not appear in court. Most clients in Central Oregon appreciate the informal dress, but we understand others may not.

As far as meeting with anyone other than the prospective client at our initial consultation, it is our policy to meet only with the prospective client. This is done to protect the prospective client’s attorney-client privilege, as meeting with anyone other than the prospective client can waive the privilege.

At no time did Mr. Riquelme advise the prospective client to “stalk” the at-fault party. Mr. Riquelme did advise that without identifying information (driver’s license, crash exchange report, ID card, etc.) for the at-fault party, he would be unable to take the case against him or her. Requesting identifying information from an at-fault party to a car crash is neither “stalking” nor a crime of any kind, and in fact is routine practice in car crashes. It should be noted that the information requested is the information any at-fault party to a crash in which a person is injured is required to furnish according to Oregon law (ORS 811.705).

Mr. Riquelme is dedicated to help those injured in car crashes, but he does need identifying information from the at-fault party in order to pursue him/her. While his dress of jeans and button up shirt may be too informal for some, his dedication to helping injured Oregonians is zealous and rigorous.

We are sorry we were not able to help this particular prospective client with his case.

If you are injured through the fault of another and want a free consultation (and don’t mind meeting with a lawyer dressed in jeans and a button up shirt) please call us for your free professional consultation.

Colton Theer was a great attorney for me. I had a very sensitive legal matter that could have turned into a much bigger deal. Because of Colton’s relationships within the legal system and his willingness to advocate for me I avoided a lengthy legal process. Great guy to work with as well. Attentive and responded quickly. Was direct in his communications and delivered on the outcomes for me. I will continue to highly reccomend him.
Very helpful
Thanks Aaron. Always let us know when we can be of assistance.
-Tim Elliott
The ball has been dropped by his office more than once. Not very responsive and total lack of follow thru. I wouldn't recommend or return to this office if I was ever in need again.
Bad experience with this firm, at the beginning they make you believe they care for your case and your family, then after they have hooked you up they will spam you with bills and will try to find a resolution that's easier for them but not best for your family. We went to a hearing over the phone and my attorney didn't even ask for the right to speak or present my case, Kelly lacked of experience and was very underprepared. I paid almost 10k and didn't even go to trial just for them to give up my case because they didn't want to fight for my case. Mario is arrogant and will get offended if you tell them you don't care about money and want them to fight. Even then, They only like easy money, they won't fight at all. Find a better attorney!
This is the real E. Leeberg, my name was used by the estranged partner of a person whom Todd Wilson is helping. Mr. Wilson has been extremely generous and helpful in a very contentious divorce from a sociopath. The review was false and I hope it has been removed.
Todd did a great job representing me a legal dispute. He listened thoroughly, was patient with answering my questions, and was truly amazing on the day of the court hearing. I wouldn’t hesitate in recommending him to friends and family.
Knowledgeable, professionalism, personable, friendly, understanding, honorable, sympathetic, confidential, timely, extremely honest and very intelligent! Does the work himself so he always knows what is going on with your case and that is very helpful. Justice served! Very HIGHLY recommend! I would not use anyone else!
Divorce papers he prepared have given me grief a number of times. Also, I was charged for changes to the doc, and then charged again for the changes I paid for to be emailed. Pitiful. Update since there's been a response. I will add that multiple (!!!) other lawyers I've had looked at the work have said it was not thorough, and had a lot of holes. One even wondered if I'd done it myself. I didn't realize how ambiguous some wording is until I'm in a bad situation as a result of it. Again, not for the first time, I'm facing difficulties. A mortgage is still in my name without the title, and she didn't pay the mortgage. My credit score has dropped 134 POINTS!!
Thank you for your 5-star rating and for letting us be of assistance.
-Tim Elliott, Partner
