I got in an accident back in December of 2017. I called Eric and met with him about my accident and he was happy to take on my case. I also worked with laurie in his office as well. Laurie kept me well informed about my case and always made sure I knew what was going on. The process took longer than expected because insurances took their time getting back to the law office but, I am very happy with the outcome and would recommend Eric's awerkamps law office everytime.

Would only take my workmen’s comp case if I fired my personal injury attorneys Mark and Alexia Breyer, I didn’t understand how much more important the personal injury law suit was and in the end made sense why Eric would want both, care less about the work injury when only going all in for the personal injury was where he’d get the Benjamin's, it wasn’t till we met with the middle man, unbiased (attorney) another player, (4) hours makes $2400.00. Ask for a demand letter, so you have time to look and think 🤔 it over, or you’ll sit in the room waiting for him to speak on your behalf and all you’ll hear is the crickets! Make sure you get everything in writing ✍️ from him, he ripped me off $1700 on top of his $83,333.33. I suffer from pain 24/7 too many years passed waiting till I feel better to make all the copies with proof and my formal written complaint to to state bar. I’m writing this laying down in pain, basically bedridden so I’m trying to get important points. Did I say he lost workmen’s comp case. It was up to me to decide what the least I thought was fair. I asked him one day long before the day, he responded “a life is going for $800,000.00 now, I certainly can’t ask for the total on your case! Hopefully we only experience the injury once in a lifetime as this experience will do me no good in the future, but it might someone!? I got hurt on a private property while on the job...So after my injury was closed pretty, workmen’s comp, sentry insurance dropped me, I had to use my insurance from work, even after Hospice of the Valley fired me, I had to pay $593 a month for 18 months for COBRA, so Eric being at the top, Sentry Insurance collecting back what they paid my doctors, surgeons, 67% every 2 weeks for four months, home health care, then COBRA/Cigna wants to be paid back what they helped pay for... this is where they wanted some thousands of dollars, I asked for a copy of what they were trying to double dip., Eric said $3800. My son paid a girl to do the math with codes, Eric verbally told me and my son he got them down to $2,100.00 on way to meet intimidator, minuses $3800!!! I had to pay all the copays on top. My pain is furious and I’m exhausted 😩. He tried to get Cigna to pay him for him getting them there money, they said no, so he took from me....I want more information messenger me. I always thought lawyers got a bad rap till I made a gigantic error signing papers with Eric! Be smart, he works for you...not like he’s doing you a favor. I imagine if it’s just to represent you in workmen’s comp alone...he’d have to work harder to make some money 💵🙂
