I emailed this guy just to get a second opinion on a landlord/tenant case. Instead of emailing me back like I requested, he called me just to tell me how ridiculous he thought my case was. Mind you, he only had two sentences in an email and 2 and a half out of my mouth (before he cut me off) to go on. Brother, I'm not gonna tell you how to run your business, but I think all of the bad reviews below and disciplinary actions from the state BAR Association should be a clue that you might wanna tighten up on your professionalism.

I would strongly caution anyone considering contacting this attorney.I called for what I believed would be a professional consultation and began explaining my situation when the attorney suddenly started yelling my name very loudly over the phone. I initially thought I had missed something and apologized, but he continued speaking in an aggressive and disrespectful tone, saying he had called my name multiple times and demanding that I move my child away from the phone. My 10-month-old was simply nearby playing with toys. The tone and manner in which he spoke were extremely unprofessional and unnecessarily hostile. At that point I chose to end the call. As someone who recently graduated from law school myself, I was honestly shocked by the lack of professionalism. Clients seeking legal advice are often already dealing with stressful situations, and basic courtesy and respect should be the minimum expectation. I would recommend looking elsewhere for legal counsel. There are many attorneys who treat potential clients with professionalism and respect, and unfortunately this was not one of those experiences.

I want to add a perspective that I didn’t see reflected in some other reviews. Yes, Eric can come across as a bit edgy but in my experience, that edge was a strength, not a weakness. He was extremely helpful, timely, and clearly knew the law inside and out. Throughout my case, he consistently explained the process, set realistic expectations, and made sure I understood what was happening at every stage. I never felt like I was navigating things alone. In court, that same “edge” translated into confidence, directness, and effectiveness and that is exactly what I wanted as an advocate for me. I felt well-prepared, supported, and represented by someone who wasn’t afraid to push when it mattered. If you’re looking for an attorney who is knowledgeable, responsive, and willing to be firm when needed, I would absolutely recommend Mr. Levine

We called 15 lawyers before finding one that would just speak to us over the phone. I am so thankful Mr. Levine picked up and just took the time out to listen and talk us through the process. There might have been times where he was short or even a bit curt but this was merely to respect all of our time. The call was short and to the point. You're not calling for a bestie, your calling for a professional. He was knowledgeable, blunt and informative. Thank you sir!

Avoid at all cost!!! Very bad attitude and seems very money hungry. I should’ve read the reviews before wasting my time.

I've have contacted this law firm 4 tiimes in 2 weeks. No return phone calls. Not even with going online 2x. & no "live" person ever answers the phone in real time. I hope Mr. Levine doesn't think he's the only attorney in Charlotte, NC that has any experience. Some of these reviews I've read aren't good and glad that no one has returned my call. I've never had any law office NOT return a call until now.

Absolutely despicable human being. I cant legally say names, however this person touched my underage son

I'm located in a totally different state. I knew from reading his reviews I should call him. My attorney that normally handles things in my home state comes across this way (if you don't know him) I've also worked with attorneys in the past and understand "the facts" attitude. He was straight to the point, What it would cost and confirmed what I should file based on facts and evidence. I got more information on how to move forward in a 15 minute conversation with him than in other consults I've paid for.

So rude and will belittle you, don’t waste your time

Very rude guy idk what’s his problem I needed advice and he was very mean. Eric needs to accept Jesus into his heart, lacks compassion.

The tone in his voice wasn’t very nice and welcoming, he did not make me feel comfortable in continuing the phone call with him.

First off he was rude from the time I picked up the phone. He was giving me attitude when I was trying to talk to him about my situation and interrupting me after asking me a question. Never go to this place or have him help you it’s no wonder it’s not even a 2 star on google reviews…

I've delt with a lot of legal situations and have 20 years experience with attorneys. Eric Levine was one of the worst attorneys you could ask for. His practices are on the edge of what is legal. He preformed so poorly and so unethical that our other attorneys had to file a complaint with the board who regulates attorneys. Save yourself a huge headache and find someone else. Eric Levine will only cause you trouble.

There is a difference between being straightforward and honest versus being downright rude. Eric is knowledgeable but best believe you will encounter IMMENSELY RUDE individual! Thanks for the knowledge, Eric, but I would never recommend you!

I had a very unpleasant experience speaking with Eric Levine. He was rude, abrupt, and even raised his voice during our conversation. I regret reaching out and would not recommend contacting him.

He was pretty rude and just had an attitude and wasn’t really trying to understand me. He was a bit helpful but was getting frustrated at me for not knowing things…that’s why I called in the first place I’m not a lawyer

Look-I’m the most sensitive woman in the world but he knows whether you have a case or not. He asks nothing but the important questions. He does interupt but it’s for good reason!

Terrible to speak to. Seems like he had an attitude the entire time. 5 min talking to this person i will not want to speak to him again. If you don't like being a lawyer than maybe it's time fir a career change.
