Ernest D. Preate, Jr. - Scranton Criminal Lawyer

I retained Ernest Preate, Jr. as my defense attorney in a white-collar case, and from my experience, he practices law like a mountebank. Would highly not recommend.

I was represented by him in 2019 but it wasn't till 2020 that he admitted he had never gotten any of the evidence from the sheriffs office, including a video of the incident. Don't put your money into an attorney who won't do their job.

Day 1 this man did more than my 3 previous lawyers put together! Imagine my surprise to meet the day before a hearing to prepare for it instead 5 min before the hearing like the other 3 and won on first appearance taking over my nightmare of a case with less than a week introduce himself too. Good lawyers do exist!

Was truly disappointed in regards to how he handled things with my husband’s federal white collar case. His lack of knowledge of the changes with the First Steps Act of 2018. Making me feel that my concerns were not priority, and not explaining why they should or shouldn’t be.

I Love this man because he helps everyone who needs help sometimes he tells you actually what to do🙂 right over the phone ! Hope he always helps me ! If you can get him God is on your side !!

Well so far I haven’t got a response from him. But I’m sure he’s a busy man maybe I’ll hear from him in the near future. The case I need him for is very important. It’s about Getting justice for an innocent man that spent 34 years in prison. I’m sure since he was the district attorney at the time he will want to find justice for this man. I’m looking forward to speaking with him!
