I would strongly encourage anyone considering Estavillo Law Group to do very careful due diligence before hiring this firm. My experience involved significant frustration with billing practices, lack of traction on the matter, and repeated assurances that did not translate into meaningful progress. Over time, it felt like a lot of discussion without measurable movement on the case. Communication became difficult when concerns were raised about billing and compliance with the terms of the engagement. Instead of addressing those concerns directly, the situation ultimately escalated into a dispute regarding charges. Prospective clients should also take the time to review publicly available information regarding the firm and its leadership, including any disciplinary history listed with the State Bar of California. That information is publicly accessible and may help inform your decision before retaining counsel. There are many capable attorneys and firms available. Based on my experience, I would personally choose a different firm if I had the opportunity to do it over again.

Jason is an outstanding real estate attorney. My case was very complicated, and he played a crucial role in working with my mortgage company and guiding me through the process. He genuinely cares about his clients and is a strong negotiator when dealing with banks and mortgage companies. I couldn’t have asked for better representation and would highly recommend him.

I strongly advise anyone considering this firm to take your case elsewhere. My experience with Estavillo Law Group has been extremely disappointing and frustrating. The firm has a high turnover rate, which results in a lack of consistency and follow-through. Jason, the owner of the firm, has demonstrated a lack of integrity and accountability throughout the process. Our case was never finalized, and despite repeated attempts to resolve the matter, they are refusing to return our retainer. I have made dozens of phone calls and sent multiple emails with no response. Whenever I call, I am told no one is available to speak with me, and I never receive a call back. This level of unprofessionalism is completely unacceptable for a law firm. Due to their mishandling of our case, I have been in contact with the California Bar Association to take further action. I highly recommend finding a different law firm that will treat you and your case with the respect, transparency, and communication you deserve.

UPDATE 5 March 2025: Jason Estavillo's license has been suspended- for a second time. OMG I found out Jason Estavillo's law license was suspended. A few years back a friend needed assistance with a loan modification so I told her I could help her out but she went to Estavillo and he just piled on the BS. Fortunately she came to her senses -- they wanted to charge her tens of thousands when you really don't need a lawyer for this. Look up any lawyers license status on the California Bar website before hiring!

The organization, follow-up, and efficiency was EXCELLENT! Real people making actual phone calls. Honesty to the maximum. I yearn for the days when this kind of work and relationship was the norm. Cannot thank your team enough!

Very professional on all levels. When you need legal assistance with your property matters, Jason Estavillo law firm is an excellent law firm to engage with. It’s not about the money with this firm, they really care about helping you with your property matters and go above and beyond to understand your situation; starting with an initial consultation. I didn’t feel rushed and Mr Jason Estavillo offered some suggestions during the call that were extremely helpful and helped relieve some stress that I was experiencing at the time of the call. Furthermore, he offered his time again in a follow up call and I found that to be priceless because you don’t get high level legal service like that without engaging in a contract.
