Getting divorce sucks. It just does. It was stressful for me and, at the outset, I was worried a lot about the process and potential outcomes, and I continued to delay starting what absolutely needed to start. I had a complicated case that wasn't easy to explain to a law office. I'm so glad I called Family Law San Diego. They were with me every step and they got in my opinion what the best possible outcome could have been and in the end it was way more tolerable than I could have ever imagined. From the very beginning, I made every effort to be organized, communicative, and proactive in preparing for my case. I reached out multiple times before my hearing asking for clarification and reassurance that we were moving forward in a strong, appropriate way. Despite my effort—even providing detailed documentation and organized notes for my case—I was ignored. I was encouraged to come in for several sit-down conversations that went nowhere, just unproductive talks I was billed for. By the time of my hearing, my attorney seemed to recall less than half the information I had shared. This felt completely unprofessional and left me feeling hopeless. My lawyer didn’t stand up for me in court and allowed me to enter the hearing completely unprepared, including for questioning. When I expressed frustration about the outcome and their lack of preparation, I was strung along for months with promises of a resolution, only to be told they wouldn’t do anything. They dismissed my concerns and claimed the court’s decisions were simply outside their control. If this is their “best,” they should not be in business. This firm promotes itself as Christian-based and family-focused, but my experience was the opposite. I started with a case in good standing and ended up in a far worse position legally, financially, and emotionally. If you’re looking for a lawyer who will truly care about your safety, your children, and your case—and actually stand up for you in court—this is not the firm for you.

I too want to add to the chorus of "stay away from this firm." They are very good at collecting your money and holding on to it and awful in terms of following up on matters and providing good legal services. Everyone seems to meet Bud in the beginning, and they talk to you like you are in grade school. After that, I ended up working 95% of the time with a para legal. If they say they will get back to you at the end of the week, assume it will be two weeks and only when you call back. Do yourself a favor...don't use this firm!

Linda was very helpful and responsive in addressing my needs and concerns through my divorce process.

Mr. Klueck's team did not support me as their client. I was sold on the idea that they would be with me during my divorce process, but Mr. Yerger and Mr. Haro avoided me more than informing/advising me on the divorce proceedings. Based on their actions, I sincerely do not believe they are there for the best interest of the client. I recommend you look elsewhere for legal services.

I came to find Family Law San Diego after a bad experience with my previous attorney. I was going through a divorce for a year when I had to part ways with my previous attorney. I found FLSD and consulted with Bud, who then assigned me to Linda Vergara-Yslas. When I met with Linda she was professional and compassionate about my situation. Our ultimate goal was to get my divorce finalized, which is all I wanted. Linda and her assistant, Alejandra, communicated via email and phone, keeping me in the loop. After some back and forth, we finally were able to sign an agreement and get the judge to sign off. I'm thankful for Linda and getting me to the end of this divorce, which was such an emotional hardship for me.

They’re the the best Brian is an amazing lawyer will help you through everything and fight for you and your best interests. They are caring and understanding and sympathetic and will fight tooth and nail to get back ur parental rights and child custody.

My experience with Andrew Shrader (my lead attorney) was over all fantastic. He was very attentive to my matter and always made sure I had all my questions answered. He was thorough and caring. I'd recommend him to anyone. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because Mr. Garrison "Bud" Klueck was the person I had a video call with to go over what agreements I'd be making in my mediation meeting. He's confident and was very much so agreeable with me and my case, which did ease me a little. Although at the end of our call he gave me the wrong court house information. This did lead me to being very late to my first meeting with the person I'm taking to court, super embarrassing actually. I figured out where to go eventually thanks to Andrew's assistant Sam Barboo. Over all, the fees were a lot, it's very expensive BUT they offer financial help. Hope this helps.
