Based on that, you’re scheduled for either a half-hour session ($150) or a full hour ($250). Before your appointment, you’re asked to fill out a form and provide additional relevant details via email. Here’s the frustrating part: during the session, you sit with the lawyer for the agreed time, but they seem to repeat the same questions you already answered in the form and email. From my experience, it didn’t seem like the lawyer had reviewed any of the provided information beforehand. They kept asking questions that they should already have had answers to if they’d taken the time to read my submissions. In my opinion, this process isn’t a good use of money, as it feels redundant and inefficient.
