I rarely leave one-star reviews. I prefer to speak directly with management and allow an opportunity to correct the situation. Unfortunately, at this point, my hands are tied. My elderly parents have been members of LegalShield for over 20 years and chose Fiffik Law Group to update their estate documents, which had not been revised in several years. They completed and submitted the required questionnaire on 8/1/25. When we had not received confirmation, we followed up on 8/12/25 and were told the firm was backlogged due to National Will Month. A second follow-up on 9/2/25 went unanswered. It was not until October that an attorney finally spoke with my parents. Now, more than five months later, they still have not received finalized documents. My parents often ask for my help navigating administrative matters, timelines, and next steps, as the process can feel overwhelming for them. When I am on calls, I clearly introduce myself and do not speak to the substance of their estate wishes—only to ask procedural questions my parents request help with. I fully understand and respect concerns around elder abuse and appreciate appropriate safeguards. However, the way this has been handled feels excessive and dismissive rather than protective. When I asked why this process has taken over 5 months and whether there was someone at the firm we could speak with regarding our experience, the representative I spoke with was unprofessional and abrupt. At one point, it genuinely felt as though she might hang up on me. Her tone did not improve until my father also expressed his dissatisfaction. The interaction felt disrespectful and unnecessary, especially given the length of time and lack of follow-through we have experienced. This is our first experience with Fiffik Law Group, and we are only using them because LegalShield provides no alternative. Given the positive reviews, I am genuinely puzzled by how poorly my parents have been treated. The lack of responsiveness, prolonged delays, and unprofessional communication have been extremely disappointing.
