This is my personal story and experience with my lawyer Susan Brown from Florida Advocates firm. I was involved in a very bad car accident. To be honest, I was lucky to survive. I injured my neck and have had a lot of pain in my neck and arm; I also suffered a concussion. Eventually, I had neurosurgery on my neck and long-term treatment in a TBI clinic. Right after the accident, I was hesitant about choosing a lawyer because there are so many law firms, and it’s normal to feel some fear when making that decision. A friend of mine recommended Florida Advocates, and I started working with Susan Brown. That was the perfect choice for me. The process of getting a settlement is very long. You go through different treatments, and sometimes your emotions get out of control. Susan was always ready to talk with me whenever I needed her. She always explained everything clearly, answered all my questions, and I found our conversations very calming — it felt like I was visiting a psychologist.
