I paid $500.00 over the phone for an emergency laywer. I was told this was a retainer fee by the frontdesk. It was my understanding If you paid a retainer fee and your case resolves quickly or the lawyer doesn't use all the funds, you are entitled to a refund for the portion of the retainer that was not used for services rendered. No one talked to my uncle or showed up to his hearing. I did not receive a single call from the lawyer (who's name is Cameron Call) after the hearing. I had to reach out to the office myself the entire time. I called today hoping to get a refund or partial since no fees or application was started and nothing was signed. I wanted to continue his case eleswhere. I was later told that the frontdesk misinformed me and that the $500 was for the lawyer to meet my uncle at the jail and they weren't refunding me. Once again no one spoke to my uncle or showed up at his hearing. Please be careful when booking an emergency lawyer with this office.
