They were very helpful even though I have decided not to pursue my claim. Even for relatively small issue like mine, the workers' comp system is very, very stressful. The attorney with whom I had the free phone consultation, Daniel Schilling, was empathetic, friendly, and informative. He provided a lot of good information about how the system works, pitfalls, and what to do if the issue comes back. I mainly wish I had called them sooner in the process! Ugh! L&I is so complicated. (Update: Followed their advice and received a fair settlement that covered my medical bills.)
