I found Caroline Cooley on the Arapahoe County CFI approved list. She has extensive experience as a CFI and is very knowledgeable about child development and the CFI process. She was professional, organized, and thorough throughout, and open to hearing from all sides. She made sure the children felt comfortable, and I never felt rushed during interactions. Her final report was detailed, and I would recommend her as a CFI.

Someone I know was in a high conflict court case and requested a CFI, even requested Caroline Cooley as the CFI. Initially she got in contact with them however, ended up ultimately blowing them and their side of the interviews off. She tells the court they did not show up or respond despite them filing evidence to show that was not true. Ultimately the high conflict abusive parent, through manipulation and gaslighting, was successful able to further alienate the other parent, despite evidence being filed into court to show abuse. This is primarily because the extremely professional CFI met with the other parent and regurgitate word for word what they said about the father and family on the report and acted as if it was evidence. Extremely unprofessional 10/10 would not recommend.

I immediately recognized that Caroline would be an excellent fit for my needs upon our initial phone conversation. I was able to breathe easier and thankful for the time she took with me.

Caroline Cooley was assigned to my case as our CFI. From the start you could tell she truly cared about the children. She was fair, kind and extremely knowledgeable about the aspects of the case. I would recommend her with the highest regards.

Caroline works very hard for justice! She was my son's GAL...it was apparent, through her work, that she wanted what was best for him.She gained his trust, as well as mine. The case was complicated in Many ways, but she Listened & kept things Organized. She did not give up & made sure the Judge understood what was happening outside of the courtroom. Today, Ms. Caroline Cooley (Attorney and Child-Family Investigator) testified on my behalf. She critiqued the original CFI report which was full of flaws, biases, incomplete interviews, etc. Ms. Cooley’s rebuttal report and her testimony was very Logical and Fair. I urged anyone to use her as a CFI. I wish I could post the original CFI and her rebuttal report here. Thank you soooooo very much, Ms. Cooley!

Caroline and her team are amazing! I unfortunately have very challenging legal situations to deal with with my ex and Caroline is creative and strategic and fights so hard for me. She and Megan both truly seem to care and empathize with me about my situation and want justice for me. Chris has also been so helpful and creative with how he has written up documents and argued my case. I appreciate his unique perspective on things. They are all a great team, and if I need any more legal assistance in the future, I will come back to Fourth Street law.

Caroline Cooley is a piece of work. She doesn't protect kids like she is supposed to but rather aggressively goes after the protective parent figure without a shred of evidence against them. Horrible GAL. Horrible person.

Caroline Cooley is not truly there to advocate for you, she’s in this business for the money. I’ve noticed it too many times and I should’ve found another attorney at the first red flag but I gave her the benefit of the doubt when she came with these sweet “Nothings!” It’s overwhelming to go through a custody case and she was not understanding, she was damn near working for the other party. I would never recommend her to any one.
