Christian Francis was extremely unprofessional and unreliable throughout our criminal case. Communication was almost nonexistent after he initially took the case and collected payment. Getting updates or answers was nearly impossible, and we were constantly told he “couldn’t get a hold of the DA,” which showed a complete lack of effort or influence. He convinced us to leave a previous attorney and get a refund to hire him, promising that at the very least there would be no jail time, especially given cooperation with law enforcement. That promise turned out to be completely false. We repeatedly asked him to withdraw the guilty plea, and he kept insisting it could be “handled at the last minute at sentencing.” Because he waited until the last minute, the judge denied it. That failure alone had serious consequences that could have been avoided with proper, timely action. He showed no urgency, no strategy, and no concern for the outcome once he was paid. In the end, it felt like we hired him just to be walked straight into jail—something he explicitly promised would not happen. If you want an attorney who communicates, advocates for you, and actually fights for your freedom, do not hire Christian Francis. He will take your money and leave you dealing with the consequences alone.
