We used Freeman Bracey for selling our house. They were on top of things! When we called with a problem or or a question, they got back to us quickly. Devon and Jill were great to work with and I would work with them again and recommend them to anyone needing an attorney.

My parents used the firm for their wills and other documents in 2010. Fast forward to 2025. My lawyer ( not at their firm), noticed an oversight on one of the pages by the previous partner of the firm. This created a very stressful situation on my end which could have led to a much bigger issue. I contacted Freeman & Bracey asking for assistance 15 years after the will originated. They were able to retrieve other documents from their archives to help rectify the situation. This was no fault of mine nor theirs, yet, they were kind and courteous and willing to help so long after the fact. Highly recommend.

My dad was friends with Joe and Barbara for years and Joe was his attorney during that time. Wow, how things have changed. It took three calls last Monday to get someone on the phone. After discussing my needs with the secretary she states "I will try to get one of the attorneys to call you back". On Tuesday I received a call from Chase Moore and we discussed what is needed. His response was "let me run it by the other attorneys to formulate a plan. You know three heads are better than one. I will let you know in 24-48 hrs". Wednesday nothing. Thursday nothing. Friday nothing. They wasted my time for a week and to this day have not responded. Wouldn't it be better to say, ' we are busy, we don't do that type of law, we have no experience, sorry try someone else'? Many reviews state a family atmosphere and my dad was always fond of this group but I digress.

I would put 0, but I could only select 1. I was given their information by my employer for a legal plan that I paid for. On my first call, they said a lawyer would call me soon. I called back after 10 days (I had not received any response) and I was told a lawyer would call me with an hour. I received a call from the assistant 2 hours later stating they were just too busy to help. I guess my little estate planning just isn't enough money for them. Horrible customer service!! I will be asking my company to take them off our approved list.

I’ll try to stay under character limit. Started off ok in Sept 2020. Covid and the courts being closed caused a long lead time to get to court. Paid a $4250 retainer with the understanding that it should cover everything except for depositions. At depositions I paid about $1000 extra for mediator and court reporter. Fast forward to court and May 2022. Attorney was supposed to meet discuss trial strategy and canceled. Submitted unusable calendar documents for court (which she told me at consultation she could not use and I corrected formatting for printing). Demanded text logs and didn’t use them. Kept promising to issue a drug test and avoided my questions about it every time I asked. It was never issued. At court, after her unprepared representation of me, she handed off the new parenting plan drafting TO THE DEFENSE!!!!!! I was so shocked by everything I didn’t think to protest. I did ask about court costs and she said “That’s what your retainer is for.” 2 months later when I got mail from them I was expecting a proposed parenting plan for review. It was a $1500 invoice. Over the next month I got more invoices totaling $4500. The invoice says call if you have questions. I called to ask about these unapproved charges (per contract) and got no response. A month later I got a letter, containing all the invoices I already had. And a new invoice for sending the invoices I called to ask about. Stellar customer service. Fast forward to February 2023. I still don’t have an updated parenting agreement and she wants over $6000 now for her poor representation. Approaching $12000 for total charges now. I still do not have a new parenting agreement. It’s a template from the State of Tennessee. I asked if we can file it instead......crickets. She sends me invoices for filling paperwork,I ask what became of it.....crickets. Save your money. Go elsewhere and get results. Update June 2023: I emailed to ask about the status of the new parenting agreement. She informed me that she dismissed my petition in April without my knowledge and there would be no new parenting agreement as the judge did not make any changes. The defending party heard changes when in court so either there was another court date that we were never made aware of, or Ms Bracey intentionally torpedoed my case. They are still sending me invoices that do not meet the terms of the retainer document, now for absolutely nothing. I reiterate for anyone who read to this point: Go Elsewhere!

I had the opportunity to close a mortgage loan for this company. Highly professional, friendly, and prompt with all communication and compensation. I look forward to working with them again as a notary/TIPIC (maybe even as a mediator one day) and highly recommend them.

I called this Law Office to ask if they would represent me for a driving ticket I received. The person who picked up the phone put me on hold and then asked for a little more information, I then informed her that I was given them as part of Met Life legal that I am a part of thru my job. She then put on hold again and informed me they are booked solid and I would have to call back. I asked do they not want to at least hear or when should I call back? She stated they are booked. I asked do they not want to take the case and she informed me yes. Wow, I guess because it is a case with Met life legal where I do not pay out of pocket they do not want it. Why be a part of the program. I do plan to let Met life legal know.
