I am leaving this review largely because I read the other reviews and think they were largely biased. My husband and I hired Shelly to help us with estate planning when she was working for a larger firm in Boise several years ago. She was professional, very knowledgeable and efficient. She met with us to discuss our options and interests. She drew up the initial paperwork and helped us get everything in proper order. We later amended our estate plans with the help of another attorney, but Shelly was thorough and helpful and we would absolutely recommend her for anyone looking for a qualified competent attorney - especially if you need someone who will look out for your best interests and not be afraid to take on a difficult case. Shelly strikes us as a competent attorney who would be willing to take on any challenge and likely succeed. Thankfully we have never needed the skills of a prosecutor, but if I had to hire someone to take on a tough case, I would not hesitate to hire Shelly for the job. She strikes me as a “bulldog” and I hope she takes that as the compliment it is intended to be!

I'm only leaving a good review, because the only other review is bad. If you go look at the other reviewer, all she does is review stuff when she is upset. Not cool. She is complaining about getting 70% custody? Yeah, I can see clearly why this woman has the problems she does. Sad. Very very sad human.

She is unprofessional, had shelie as my attorney for a custody of my boys. She doesn't care very heartless person very rude and doesn't support or try to help her client. It all about the money to her but she doesn't realize how can her decision making can make someone's life worse. She hasn't helped me at all get what a mother deserves. She got me 70 % custody and him 30% and his not even in there life or pays child support and then she asks a working mom and full time student to pay her $500 dollars a month and I told her I won't be able to give her that much she threatens me that she will garnish wages even though I have told her I can give you money each month but not that much what single mother pf two can afford to pay that much a month.. she also got my family memeber involved called them on there person numbers. I would never ever recommend her she is a walking woman and mother without a sole.
