Mr Alley responded to my inquiry very quickly. Gave me his legal advice and opinion on the situation. Very kind and easy to talk to. Would highly suggest.
We were told by Keith Allie that they couldn’t wait to get started on our case so we paid them $1300 to get started on our case and after paying them we were told that we had no case then after six months we were told that we owe about $560 more and that they would appreciate if we paid it before May third!! They claimed that Mr Alley spent three hours reviewing our case after he claimed to want to get started on our case that we had no case please don’t get involved with this lawyer like we did we have so many repairs to do on our home and the money we wasted on nothing could have helped us get our home fixed all I can say is unbelievable God is watching so good luck with that we paid him for nothing but like I said God is watching we did the right thing but you did not I wasn’t going to leave a review but I don’t want to see anybody else getting mislead the way that we did!! I see that reviews from years ago are good but the most recent are not maybe they just don’t care anymore maybe they’re just hungry for money I don’t know all I know is that I feel they did us wrong misleading us the way they did I hope that when they cash our check it makes them sleep better at night I hope it makes them feel better that they have a nice place to live and we still have many repairs to make on our home!!!
Our ethical rules prohibit us from publicizing information that we learn from clients, so we will never disclose facts or circumstances that we learn from clients simply to reply to an online posting. Generally, as attorneys we can only provide legal advice based upon the facts we are provided and the law that relates to those facts. We cannot manufacture our client’s facts, nor do we have any control over documents and contracts our clients sign without having the benefit of the advice of counsel. Depending on the information we are provided and the way it is organized, it can take time to review complicated facts, timelines of events, research the law, and provide legal advice directly related to the facts we are provided. While most of our client’s cases are resolved to our clients’ reasonable satisfaction, sometimes we are provided with facts for which the law provides no remedy. We regret that not all facts offer a legal solution but believe that it is our duty to provide honest and candid legal advice on the front end of any matter to help our clients make informed decisions about whether it is cost effective to proceed to expensive litigation. We strive to zealously accomplish all our clients’ legal goals and regret any time we are unable to offer a legal solution to a serious problem.
Keith is very helpful and can answer all of your questions.
Avoid at all costs for Landlord/Tenant law, they are disinterested in representing you and just want to cash checks to have a parallegal sit there. Expect to represent yourself if you use this crew. My mom used this firm and they pretty much took advantage of her limited english and chose not to represent her interests as a landlord.
This review was not made by a client of our firm. Our firm does not employ paralegals.
I did not hire due to the condescending tone toward me. I get that I don't understand many things and am new, but would not hire because explaining things to someone is not hard with not belittling them especially being an adult. Of course I understand needing to pay to really get things discussed, but I would not give my money to someone that I call to try to hire and the whole time I was talked in a condescending way (slower sentences as well as tone) as well as seeming to not like that I called for a county that is a bit further even though he can take things within the further county. Talked to me like I should not have called him about this county unknowingly that I have been calling plenty within and now I'm branching out because of no luck. Would not recommend and would not hire at all.
Our ethical requirements prohibit us from disclosing information that may have been shared with our attorneys in confidence. We understand that legal issues can be stressful and that being asked direct questions to see if our attorneys can be of legal service may seem insensitive. Generally, we recommend that anyone contacting an attorney be prepared to answer basic questions about the legal issue of concern. If your call is regarding a landlord and tenant issue, our attorneys will need to know the name of the landlord (not the name of the apartment complex, property management company, or person upsetting you), the name of the tenant, and the county in which the real property being leased is located at the beginning of the call. This helps us quickly identify conflicts and determine if we are able to offer legal services to you in your area. Our firm routinely offers legal services from our Knoxville office in eighteen (18) east Tennessee counties. Sometimes, we may recommend that you consider contacting a local bar association for a lawyer referral closer to your area if we think it may save you money. We value your time and resources. Our goal is to accomplish our clients' legal goals in an efficient and cost-effective manner. We wish all who call our firm success in accomplishing their legal goals. If our firm can be of legal service, we are happy to help.
Keith was thorough and knowledgeable about our situation. I'm glad the internet search lead me to him. He resolved my parents situation with compassion and understanding.
This individual was not a client of our law firm.
Working with Mr. Alley was the best decision we could've made to rectify our specific issue. There are a lot of attorneys in town; however, not all of them are as competent and professional as Mr. Alley. We would definitely recommend his services!
Keith is an experienced professional attorney who represents his clients very well.
In the case he handled for my place of work, Mr. Alley helped us resolve an issue regarding a former tenant who left an office space with abandoned equipment, damaged surfaces, etc. There were plenty of complicating factors, which Mr. Alley helped us through with aplomb! He conducted himself in a friendly and highly professional manner at all times. His command of his profession and high competency came through immediately in consultation and was evident in his correspondence. His humanity shows. He is tough when it's warranted, yet is able to understand the value in compromise in order to minimize losses. We are grateful for his thorough approach and are happy with the outcome he got for us.
