Of course a person who receives a poor result is going to be unhappy. My objection, however is more about the process. The minimum work needed just wasn’t put into my case and the level of assertiveness, care, interest and investment of time and energy was beyond POOR. In court the prosecution was shaking their head at my attorney, who was not even aware of this or much else…. Telling. Take a chance if you are feeling exceptionally lucky. Otherwise, a throw of the dart or a Public Defender would yield a better result for your case.

The initial consultation is free, but to retain this lawyer you need 5000$ up front. During the consultation I was able to ask any legal advice I could think of. The man is an advocate for the mentally ill, and speaks English and Spanish fluently. I had no money of that kind, so I didn't retain him, but if I would've had the cash I would have retained him. He seems very competent.
