Was less than helpful. Took our money after he knew we were looking to go to court and basically told us that we had to handle it ourselves. He is what’s wrong with lawyers. He is the kind of guy that just wants to charge you for worthless advice and offer no real legal help.

Wes was very patient and thorough, taking a lot of time to investigate the details of an intricate landlord/tenant dispute that led to my landlord wishing to settle the matter on terms that were acceptable to me.

I'm so grateful I found Wes Garcia. I was up against the needlessly and excessively greedy practices of my previous landlord, and I thought it would be impossible to go up against them--the home owners. Wes gave me the facts right from the beginning about how things would likely play out in various scenarios, and he didn't pressure me into a decision. He explained to me the laws, citing the exact legal provisions and legal remedies as the basis for his thinking so that I could more confidently proceed with him. He was patient with me and respectful of my time. He was professional, and he also threw in some cynical humor occasionally when it was appropriate--which I personally really appreciated and needed. He made me feel as comfortable as I could taking these people on--which was really letting *him* take these people on. He wasn't intimidated by the scare tactics of the opposing council's attorney, and he called their bluff when they were low-balling us. There were agreements between both parties to sign at the end, and he rejected the agreements themselves until the other side came up with something that we thought was fair. In the end I was able to recover the cost of moving which included the lost income of taking off of work at the last minute to deal with it all. He also educated me on how to keep better records so that if I'm taken advantage of again in the future I will have the best means to recourse. I now feel more confident about dealing with property managers and home owners. If I have any issues with excessively greedy or predatory home owners or property managers again in the future, I would definitely call him again.
