I cant speak to everyone in this office, but as to Mr Berry. Ive never know of such inefficient ineffective counsel. i cant understand how he is been allowed to practice law as a defense attorney. He makes every decision in the prosecutions favor. My boyfriend was on a Misd 1 yr do 6...he did violate(i know at the end of the day its all on my boyfriend) but he still had a right to have a day in court. By thd time he gets infront of a judge, he will have set 141 days, out of 180 max...No matter what, my boyfriend was maxed out. Mr Berry asked for 3 continuences..Without consulting with my boyfriend. He flat out just didnt do his job, Mr Berry wanted it a certain way and he manipulated the court to get it how he wanted. It didnt matter how the law is laid out to work or what the defendant wanted, It was Mr Berrys way. If we are ever in a situation and Mr Berry has to come into play, we will fire immediately...Im also consulting with other parties about Mr Berrys actions and tactics. This law firm and especially Cody Cogswell are a disgrace to the legal community. Unprofessional, unprepared. Literally put me in a worse situation than before I hired him. Withheld evidence that would have changed my case. Also was late or did not show to appointments.
