We had an excellent experience working with Ben Neiburger at Generation Law. We’re younger and don’t have children yet, but wanted to be proactive and thoughtful about our estate planning. Ben helped us create a will and establish trusts for our nieces and nephews, and he wrote everything in a way that can easily be updated as our lives evolve (future kids, plot twists, the usual). What really stood out was how much time Ben took to walk us through the process. He explained everything clearly and used visual aids to show our options, which made a potentially overwhelming topic feel manageable and even… dare I say… interesting. We never felt rushed or talked down to. Ben was also incredibly accommodating, meeting with us on weekday evenings, which we truly appreciated. He has two convenient locations—Oak Park and Elmhurst—which made scheduling even easier. Most importantly, we walked away feeling completely at ease knowing our estate is properly planned. And if or when we need to make changes, we’re confident Ben will be there to guide us. He’s very friendly, approachable, and not stuffy at all—exactly what you want in an estate planning attorney. Highly recommend!

Looking for a law firm that won’t return your calls? Then this is your place. Called twice, left two separate messages to make an appointment for a PoA. Never got a return call. I guess repeat business is not something they need. Look elsewhere.

I would give this firm zero stars.... Melissa Johnson is unprofessional. I believe she works for the benefit of herself and not for the good of the elderly. I don't recommend this law firm for anyone who cares about they're family and the lawyer took a 15 min free consultation and made a vague bad decision. Do not use these people

We had a somewhat complex estate. Ben was knowledgeable and very patient in explaining the details.

Not sure why someone would write a Will to Discriminate. IMHO.

My dad's accountant referred me to Andrea Kovar at Generation Law to take a look at my dad's Will, Power of Attorney papers and Trust. Andrea was an absolute pleasure to work with! She was friendly, spoke clearly and helped us understand everything. She was super thorough, too. She really seemed sincerely interested in making sure my dad's documents were correct. She sorted out all the details on the documents, updating and redrafting when needed. She was also a fast worker. We really enjoyed working with her and I highly recommend her services. Her support staff was very competent and helpful as well.

Ben and his team are passionate and the best at what they do. Everything they do feels organized, thorough, and the staff is very personable. Great team for your estate planning.
