My experience with the firm spanned a little over a year and was average thus the average rating. There were some really good aspects such as willing to assist with knowledge of loans to help me get through a very difficult time in between the final settlement. They also worked to get the settlement to me in an expedient manner once it was finally received on their end. What I did not like... the communication far too often was lacking, felt rushed and information and details were at times misleading. When the real work began although the turnaround times for answers were good as far as expediency, the firm was not nearly as proactive as I needed and expected them to be. In fact, that I would say was my biggest issue. The proactivity was just non existent in my particular case. If I didn't advocate as much and wasn't as on top of things, I feared I wouldn't get updates as timely as I needed them. I would have really liked to have been updated instead of seeking updates. There wasn't a proper respect for my time I truly feel. As the case wore on I had to do entirely too much in the way of initiating inquiries and finding out crucial details only to find out the firm knew the answers already and aspects of the case that I needed. If I didn't reach out as often as I did I wouldn't have gotten the information I needed in a timely fashion. Far too often I felt like a nuisance and a bother instead of a valued client which should never be as this is supposed to be a partnership. I do notice this is a problem with most firms you deal with unfortunately. In working for a law firm for a time and dealing with many through the years I have unfortunately seen behind the curtain so you notice these things. I was just expecting and hoping for a different experience. At the end of the day a settlement was reached and the firm did their job and I appreciate the work done behind the scenes. The team is knowledgeable and I hear great things about them if your case ever gets to trial. That was not my outcome so my experience is what it was.

I Had a accident. With 3 years in hospital. With injuries. I had a couple of attorneys looked my case. They told me that The vehicle have only the minimum New York State insurance. That is $25000 for injuries. GIAMPA LAW FIRM Looked at my case and they Find out That the vehicle Was registered under. LLC company And there was additional umbrella insurance. That the minimum on umbrella insurance is minimum a million dollars. They missed my filing deadline! First they refused a settlement offer from the defendant without consulting with me, later telling me that my case was too good to accept such a low offer. Then they simply forgot to file in time! The attorney blamed his secretary, and that was it. Edit to reflect response from owner: This family member you mention, who was an associate with your firm at the time, solicited the case from me on your behalf. He cited your experience and supervision as s token of trust. Your firm was and is responsible. Nice try with your attempt to wash your hands of this with a sorry excuse demonstrating your internal employee conflicts. Confirms the pattern of blame within your ranks as an excuse for failure. First its the secretaries fault. Then its blamed on the attorney who is no longer with your firm. Just shows a pattern of lack of responsibility.
