Colin Hennessy recently handled my divorce and custody case, and I could not be more pleased with the work he did as well as Travis Jung, the other attorney and Jessica, the Paralegal assigned to my case. First and foremost, in saying they're a law firm for families, it is not just a tagline. From day one, it was clear that their first priority was the wellbeing of my children. Their primary concern was what is in the children's best interest and that came through loud and clear in every single conversation and decision made. We had conversations about their wellbeing and mine throughout the course of the divorce and they weren't surface level; they were out of genuine care. There were factors that were out of the ordinary for my divorce and made it challenging for me. The team at Gjesdahl made sure I always felt cared for and treated the situation with compassion and grace. They involved me in decisions about strategy, walked beside me through the process, and were steadfast in making sure I felt comfortable. They were honest and caring when delivering news that was hard to hear but helped me understand what I could do along with them to ensure the best possible outcome (which we achieved, by the way). They were good stewards of my money too, making sure I understood what this would cost, what alternate paths would cost (and the likely outcome), and making decisions on how to do work based on expense as well as potential success. You sometimes hear horror stories of legal cases where people feel billable hours were artificially inflated but I feel the opposite here - they were very mindful of the expense. The best professional experience of my life, choosing to work with Travis Jung and his team with Gjesdahl Law has proven to be the best decision I could've made for my family. My team was caring and attentive, addressing all my concerns right away. Travis Jung is an excellent attorney, he answered all my questions and followed through on everything he said. one of the worst professional experiences of my life. they charge for consultations where they sell themselves as attentive and caring. I hired Travis R Jung, Colin Hennessy, and Jessica Miller. the option of having single attorney and paralegal was never an option but they made me believe it would be worth it. as soon as my retainer was paid they immediately took the foot off the pedal and began a long game of at best 3-5 day contact responses that came off bothered and only partially addressing my concerns. Travis's little-guy ego cannot except any question of his poor communication, lack of follow through or poor client service. unfortunately I also found out too late that he was more concerned about his personal relationship with the opposing counsel then representing my case which allowed them to walk all over my case unchecked and completely ran the show. I spoke with Collin once or twice but received monthly billing and I'm not even sure what he did. Jessica on the other hand was wonderful. I spoke with the managing partner and namesake of the firm about my concerns and found out quickly the inflated ego and lack empathy was par for the course. after charging me $20k Travis dropped my as a client after questioning another 5 day partial response which will certainly negatively effect and delaying my case. STAY AWAY.

I could not be any happier with my attorney and all of the staff. My attorney was the difference in the case and she went above and beyond. I've nothing but good words for the whole office!

Went through them once for a case including a restraining order. Lost the case due to unfortunate circumstances. However managed to win the case federally via EEO. Paid a lot of money. However, tried to go back for another case for child custody and they wouldn’t give me a consult or referral. Was told they are unable to take the case. Given no reasons. They could have left it at that but had to throw in “and we don’t have any referrals for you either”. We were on great terms or so I thought. Sad they would treat client this way. Could have at least gave a recommendation or a reason as to why. Especially to someone they made over 10k off of previously. Find a firm that actually cares about you and your business is my opinion based off my experience.

Logan Mayer - Gjesdahl Law attorney - makes almost impossible things possible! My previous attorney - O'Keeffe O'Brien Lyson Attorneys - kept saying that whatever I was trying to accomplish would be absolutely impossible. Logan made it happen! Before starting a case, he thinks 10 steps ahead and plans accordingly. And with every step of the process, he is 100% prepared beforehand. The company professionals are extremely knowledgeable and experienced in multiple areas of the family law business. I was absolutely blessed when I found this firm!

I worked with Logan and Kari and they did a wonderful job. I will say the retainer is a bit higher than other attorneys, but for good reason. Logan hit the ground running for my case and made sure all of our ground was covered for any unseen turn of events. For a lawyer that’s fairly new in the game he knew what needed done- and if he didn’t he knew where to turn to get the answers he needed. I had a great experience and recommend Gjesdahl!
