I contacted this attorney to discuss an ongoing matter involving my business partner and the supporting documentation I have gathered. Instead of listening, he immediately became dismissive and condescending, ridiculing the fact that I am not an attorney. When I referenced Ohio Revised Code Chapter 1706—which governs every LLC formed under Ohio law as of February 11, 2022—he spoke to me as if I was incapable of understanding the statute. He even stated, “I’m an expert lawyer and you’re a roofer. I wouldn’t tell you how to put a roof on,” which was both unnecessary and unprofessional. I wasn’t attempting to practice law; I was simply explaining the evidence and facts I have, which any competent attorney should be willing to review before making judgments. For anyone seeking respectful, professional legal counsel—especially in matters involving LLC governance under Chapter 1706—I would recommend looking elsewhere. No client should be talked down to for being knowledgeable about their own case.

First off let me say, Chris goes above and beyond for his clients. My car was completely totaled, and I had no way to get to his office to sign my documents which was critical I did so for my case!!!! I started stressing out. However, even after his long day downtown with other cases Chris was able to come to a location in which was accessible to me! Let me say, that made me feel more confident that he actually cared about my case and not just the money, as most attorneys tend to do. Prior to calling Chris, I thought I there was absolutely no way out of the situation I was in. I was not able to see past anything but what is going to happen next which I was thinking of the worst possible outcome!!!! I was a nervous wreck!!!! The only thing that set my mind at ease was Chris's proactiveness and dedication to my case. Throughout all the proceedings, from the day I hired him as my attorney to the very end of the case, I was never left in the dark as to what the status of my case was. Initially, I hired a very expensive and what I was told “big shot” attorney who could win my case. I released counsel and hired Chris. I was not sure at first but my domestic lawyer pushed me in the direction of Chris. Actually, after speaking to Chris I told him he wasn’t for me. I continued to look for the “best” lawyer to represent me in Berea court which kept leading to Chris. I had to humble myself by asking Chris to accept me as a client after I was rude to him.
