There's a reason they have so many 1 star reviews. Do not go with these disability attorney's if you want to win your appeal. Got my denial letter today. Edit: Update, they gave up on my case after the ALJ denied my appeal. 0 communication from this firm the entire time, 0 prep for my trial. Did not expect to win with them but hey at least its over finally. Stay away from this firm if you value your case at all.

I have to apologize about a previous review that I left on this site. There was some misunderstanding and some, but they did reach out to me and apologize and reaffirm me that they are going to fix the issues and I feel much more confident now that they acknowledged that there was a problem when they fixed it these days it's not how good Attorney is or advertisement is when something is wrong as how they handle it and they handled it correctly and that is the true test and my eyes as when a company has a mistake or unfortunately did something but they made it right that's what makes a great company or a law firm. Broke my back in 2023 in two places & hired on Gonzalez & Goetz to take my case up. although I was approved which I'm satisfied about because I deserve to be approved because I'm disabled and can't work. I wasn't entitled to get any of the back pay from when I broke my back two years but my onset date was set for July of 2025. so they gave me 5 months of back pay. the lawyers decided not to take the case to the appeal because they were worried of me losing my back pay in all. I just don't understand how it's feasible for somebody to wait two and a half 3 years just for an approval and then be told I wasn't disabled until 5 months ago. how is that possible if I've been waiting for 2 years I've been disabled for 2 and 1/2 years. I think it's a sham. and I do think you guys could have did a better job for me. I literally sat for the last 3 years not being able to do the things that I used to be able to do and trusted that you guys would get me the financial compensation that I was deserving. and in return I got a monthly check which I'm happy about but I don't get no return from the years of waiting. just feel like you could have did a better job somewhere somehow because the jobs that they described me being able to do which is light work I wasn't able to do anyways due to my physical pain and back issues. and this was also told in court to the judge but yet here we are I'm only receiving what I'm receiving. for that two stars. happy but I ain't happy it's crazy. The firm is very knowledgeable and competent. However, they failed to disclose that I would not receive all the money upon winning my case. They got their payment, but I had to wait one more year. To make matters worse, they tried to bill me for work which was essential to the case and should have been included as part of their payment. They aggressively tried to collect money from me when I had not been paid yet and they had. These aggressive collection attempts continued for a good while before they finally gave up. Use them with caution.

Ana is amazing. From Day 1 she has helped me through the processes and gave guidance as needed. Social Security does take time but Ana helped me through the challenges. Excellent communication and skills.
