Where are they?? Why Dont they answer the phone..... Where are the recent ratings?? Does this company still exist.

This is what they have on their website so how did I ever expect them to fight for me. "Goodwyn Law Firm: We build lasting relationships with our clients, including many of the world's most successful and innovative leaders, entrepreneurs, companies, and investors." If you are looking for an attorney who can't be compromised, don't have conflicts of interest, and MOST OF ALL is not afraid to take on a powerful cases. This is not the law firm you need. In the end they will get you the least possible and then take half of it for themselves. Beware and go find you an firm that will fight for you even if you have to take it to trial. Not an attorney who doubt their abilities to win a solid win case. I was charged for calls and emails that was never answered. Paperwork that I had to retrieve myself and so much more. The disposition was virtual and a entire joke to me and my families lose. Not to mention my case was settle without my knowledge all I know is I was getting a call that a check was in his office and I had to sign it. Again, they settled. I wanted to fight, but they were to afraid to go further and ever attorney that I had reviewed the case out of the state stated that the case was a true win and didn't understand how I lose.

Called the day before my scheduled appointment to verify. Arrived on time for the appointment, but was told it was cancelled. Nobody bothered to call me and explain the situation. The receptionist claimed they didn’t have my phone number. B.S. Thanks for wasting my time.

I met with Jeff Goodwyn, Jr. and Charles Blackburn for consolation on a defective merchandise claim on January 5, 2024, for representation, I found both gentleman to be professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable of consumer law and the representation for a tort action. Jeff reviewed all the circumstances with Charles, and offered their representation for a very nominal and conservative fee, far less than other Columbia law firms. Their immediate approach to present the facts of the circumstances involving my claim was presented to the merchant and manufacturer of the defective product, and on January 26, 2024, I received a full refund from the merchant. In less than thirty (30) days, they were successful in negotiating a full refund, something I had tried to accomplish with letters of demand to both the manufacturer and retailer for over 7 months, without any success, other than delays and run-arounds from the manufacturer. Who is the Goodwyn Law firm? By far they are one of the best Columbia law firms, trust in their representation and advice!

Mr Goodwyn took my case when no other attorney in this state would. He came highly recommended. My statute of limitations according to the insurance company ran out on me when I was literally on the phone negotiating with them. I'm not a quitter and knew my case had legs to stand on. I was so upset and disappointed that no attorney would even try . But he listened to my case and heard some things that he got actually upset about. And we got a settlement but I would have 100% gone into war with him . It was just best for all of us to put that chapter of my life to a close. Great staff and I'm confident he did the very best job he could for me . I trusted this man with something very sacred to me and our family name and he came thru. Worst attorneys I've ever dealt with. Scarce communication, minimal effort, all they really want is your money, they aren't interested in winning as much as they are in getting paid. Very unprofessional, Goodwyns teenage son answered his business phone as a joke when I called once for an update on my case, said something he thought was funny and hung up. I didn't pay thousands of dollars for that kind of service. I didn't think it was funny and Goodwyn calls back laughing, what a joke. They will get you the bare minimum, wasting your time and money unless your case is a one sided win. Deff recommend seeking services elsewhere, find yourself attorneys who have ambition, not ones who only want what THEY can get out of you and Goodwyn is definitely the latter.
