I reached out to this attorney office (Eric Galuszka) for help with a credit card debt matter and was extremely disappointed with the experience. From the moment he answered the phone, he had an abrupt and dismissive tone. He didn’t seem to recall why I was calling, despite the scheduled appointment, and asked “What do you need?” in a condescending manner. When I asked about options if I couldn’t arrange a payment, he simply said, “Then they’ll sue,” with no further guidance or support. I was reaching out for legal advice and direction—not judgment or sarcasm. I left the call feeling unheard and more stressed than before. I would not recommend this attorney for debt-related legal help.
Ms. Dallas,
I start off every call by asking, "How can I help?" not "what do you need?" I ask this so my client can let me know what issue they are having and what questions they have. The amount I knew when I picked up the phone was you are calling for debt collection defense. The consultation is your opportunity to tell me about the issue you are having and what questions you have. You asked me what your options are to resolve this matter before lawsuit, and I said, it will depend on what your financial ability is, whether you would be talking about a monthly payment or a lump sum settlement. I also advised why a lump sum may give you a better result that a monthly payment. You then asked, what if you're not able to make a payment at this time, and that's when I said, "then they will be filing a lawsuit," because that is the answer to the question that you asked me. I do not know why my answer upset you so much when 1.) the creditor notice letter says that’s what they are going to do, and 2.) your first question to me was what can you do to resolve this before they file a lawsuit. I’m not sure what other answer I could have given, if you can’t make an arrangement at this time, they will be filing a lawsuit.
We were in the preliminary stages of the consultation. before we even started discussing what I can do to assist, or even what assistance you are looking for. We were on the phone for less than 10 minutes of a 30-minute window before you hung up. I'm not sure what your expectation was in discussing this matter, and I'm sorry you felt unheard, but you hung up before we even started discussing what assistance I could offer you, or what it would mean if they do file a lawsuit. We could have discussed all of those things, but you did not allow the opportunity.
Thank you for helping!!!!!!!!
Met with them, was told I needed supporting documentation to negotiate with party I was having issue with. I got the requested documentation and confirmation from other party that they would compensate, so called back and was told they couldn’t help me bc I had not retained them. Does this sound like a joke? I wish it was. I wouldn’t recommend this kind of convoluted nonsense to anyone.
I thank you for GPS Law Group and Kathleen Helms for helping me get the funds owed to me when my house got taken for unpaid taxes. It may have taken some months but I had patience and whenever I expressed a concern with how long it will take Kathleen was a Wonderful person that I talked with through the whole process who would check on the status of it and would call back to let me know how long it would be. So I recommend people to use GPS Law Group for helping them with any situation they can help you with. Thank you again GPS Law Group and Kathleen Helms.
Great people to work with & very accommodating! They took care of everything with minimal work from us. Took about 6 mos. but there was trouble getting the money from the city. I would highly recommend their services.
This company was amazing to work with!! They kept us informed an up to date on everything🥰🥰

I had a scheduled 2:30 telephone appointment on Thursday October 24th. I was advised the consultation fee would be $150 plus a $6.00 processing fee. At 3:10 I called the firm to see what was going on as no one contacted me and I was to add a family member to the meeting, in which I did. However I was advised by the attorney that I was scheduled to discuss my concerns with He DID NOT review any evidence/ emails regarding my concerns prior to the meeting. He also informed me that I should have been told to call the firm at 2:30 as they don’t call customers! In fact he did about a 7-8 minute quick review or scan through in which He appeared more bothered than helpful for this (30) minute session. I was told not to use PRONOUNS “He” or “She”when referring to the two siblings in this Heir property case. It appears charging a consultation fee for cases is definitely a quick way to make money without actually giving professional and most importantly detailed information on how or if you should proceed. My family member said his service wasn’t worth $25 or our time. *** Please note Mrs. Crosby was who I had spoke with by telephone the day before, as She was attentive and just amazing ***
Ms. Ross,
That is correct. It is the client's responsibility to call into the office at the scheduled time of the appointment. The consultation is our opportunity to review and discuss documents with the client. We do not review documents ahead of time because many people do not keep their scheduled appointment so we would not be using our time wisely if we reviewed all documents before the appointment just to not have the person call. And yes, it is true that you called approximately 45 minutes after the scheduled time, but I still kept the appointment and stayed on the phone with you for over 40 minutes despite having to push back my 3:30, appointment, who called at the correct time. Finally, yes, I asked you to stop using pronouns, because there were several people that we were speaking (your aunt, the person you were emailing with, and the people at the other law office) that were females, and I could not keep up with “she” you were talking about. I asked you to use people's names so I could follow the conversation. I gave you every opportunity to ask questions about the situation, and gave you the best advice I could with the limited information you could provide me in regards to what agreements were signed. I wish you the best of luck with your situation.
Eric and Dollie are wonderful to work with and I highly recommend them for real estate closings! I have personally used their office for years and they are always a true pleasure to work with!
It’s worsted experience here law firm ever. Customer service was horrible.
Thank you for having people that are knowledgeable about your service. Very happy with phone help received August 19, 2024.
Very rude front desk associate. Imagine calling to seek representation and being prepared to pay thousands of dollars for someone to answer the phone being condescending and rude. Please.
