David Greene was my attorney during a four dog pit bull/ mix attack. I was hospitalized for two weeks after being monitored in ER for 3 days. The second day in my room I reached out to David Greene . The next day he was there, full of knowledge and answered my questions before I even had to ask. He kept in touch with me during the process . If I had to reach out to him , my call was answered immediately, even when he was on vacation . I was never left in the dark . Also I would get text from his office checking on me making sure I was ok and making sure I didn't need anything . Who does that . David Geeene does . I want to give a very special thank you to Robin Reed. For a week or two, I had been trying to get in touch with someone about my case…dealing with cold transfers, unanswered voicemails, and no callbacks. I was stressed and frustrated because I couldn’t reach anyone, and I wasn’t even informed that my case or point of contact had been moved! As a last resort, I emailed Robin, even though she is no longer my case manager. She responded within minutes and called me immediately. She didn’t have to, but she stepped in without hesitation. She apologized for the confusion, made sure I understood what was going on, and addressed all my concerns with patience and kindness. I never had a single issue with Robin when she was my case manager. She has always been kind, informative, and consistent. She always returned ANY of my calls, never left me waiting for days, and if she needed time, she would tell me she’d call in a few days and she always did. Her communication has always been reliable. Even though I’m no longer under her care, she still took those few minutes to help me when no one else did. Sometimes that’s all a client needs just someone to talk to and someone who takes the time to respond. Robin went above and beyond, and if I could give her 10 stars, I would.

On my way to work, I was hit by a drunk driver. My car was totaled, and I was taken away in an ambulance. I was happy not to have been killed. I’m not the type to get a lawyer or pursue these type of things. However my lower back was killing me after the accident. I put up with it and worked through it for months. Finally I got an MRI, and I had to have back surgery. The drunk driver had no insurance so I contacted my insurance company to use my uninsured motorist protection. They offered me zero dollars. Zero dollars for being taken away in an ambulance and having to have back surgery. I figured I was just going to have to eat it until I got a Greene & Phillips mailer. On a lark I contacted them. They took my case completely seriously and were used to dealing with this insurance company. With almost no hassle I was able to get a just resolution to this issue. Again, I don’t like lawyers or lawsuits. But Thomas Thorneycroft and his wonderful paralegal, Kathy McDonald, became my advocates and provided a just outcome. I give them my highest recommendation and everlasting gratitude.

This was my first time going through something like this, and I was nervous, but he took the time to explain everything in a way I could understand. He never rushed me, always answered my questions, and made sure we felt supported every step of the way. I truly appreciate how much he helped us and the care he showed my family. I highly recommend him to anyone who needs an attorney who genuinely cares about his clients.

Where do I start? From the very beginning, I felt misled. I was told I would be receiving more money than I actually did, and many important details were not explained until the very end of my case. I expressed to Stephen Collins (who I believe is the co-owner) that I was not properly informed of how the process works, what the procedures were, or what the proper protocols should have been. For example, no one explained that when a minor is involved, the money is placed into bonds or trust accounts. I also did not know I would have to attend hearing after hearing—sometimes three, four, even five times—just to go over the same issues for a small settlement. My attorney, Garrett White, was extremely unprofessional. Every time I spoke with him, he was combative, dismissive, and never once apologized after disagreements. Instead of listening, he argued with me—even about scheduling my pro ami hearing, which the civil clerks actually informed me about before the law firm did. I expected my lawyers to be on top of these things, but they constantly dropped the ball. To make matters worse, Garrett White repeatedly failed to present information to the judge that I had already provided. For example, I gave receipts for tutoring expenses for my daughter, but he never showed them to Judge York. As a result, I was forced to attend yet another pro ami hearing, even though I had followed the proper steps. Judge York specifically asked for receipts the next time, but Garrett White never mentioned that I had already provided them earlier. He failed to advocate for me or my daughter’s needs. Most recently, I left a pro ami on August 15th, and as of September 3rd I was just being told that the affidavit had finally been sent to Judge York. I had signed the affidavit back on August 22nd, pointed out an error, and then re-signed around August 26th. All that was left was to email it to the judge—something that could have been done with the click of a button. Instead, I had to call the clerk’s office myself to find out what was going on. When I questioned the delay, I was told, “You’re not my only client.” That was beyond unprofessional, especially considering this matter has been dragging on for almost a year. The overall atmosphere at the firm was just as bad. On one occasion, while I was on the phone privately with my sister expressing frustration, the receptionist reported my comments to Stephen Collins. He confronted me in an extremely unprofessional and condescending way, telling me I shouldn’t be on the phone in their office. I felt belittled, spoken down to, and treated as if I was incompetent or not smart enough to understand my own case. The fee structure also felt unfair. They tell you it’s 60/40, but in reality it feels more like 50/50—or worse. After all the deductions, you walk away with very little, while they collect the majority. At the end of the day, I felt like they cared far more about their paycheck than my daughter’s well-being, education, or future. Even in court, Garrett White put up no real fight. The judge had to remind him that he was supposed to be representing me. Instead, he sat back and let the court dictate the outcome. That is not proper representation. And to make it worse, Garrett White told me I was “one of his most difficult clients.” In reality, I believe he is one of the worst attorneys at the firm. Overall, my experience with Green & Phillips was awful. They were misleading, unprofessional, and showed no real concern for me or my family. They may advertise “no money up front” to draw you in, but once you sign, the treatment changes. They warm you up in the beginning, then dismiss you once they have your case. I would not recommend Green & Phillips to anyone—not even a dog. If you want attorneys who will truly fight for you and keep your best interests at heart, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere.
