Ms. Annette Griggs is the best lawyer I have ever seen. In November 2021, I got hit in a car accident. I am deeply blessed to know Ms. Annette Griggs. Ms. Annette Griggs immediately responded when I had questions, insightfully guided my case, and knew exactly how things would work out before they happened. At first, the opposing insurance offered a relatively small settlement. However, Annette affirmed my case should not be given a relatively small settlement, so she estimated how much my case should be given a settlement; if I rejected the relatively small settlement and wanted the larger one but didn’t win the case, I would not get any settlement at all. However, Annette helped give me confidence I should deny the relatively small settlement. Though the case took over three years, her confidence in her work made it not feel like three years at all, and she treated me like she was my sister (not like her client). The settlement I received was the settlement Annette predicted. All that being said, Annette’s profound law prowess is not the main reason she is the best lawyer I have ever seen. Whenever I went to Annette to discuss the case, I never felt like I was seeing my lawyer: I felt like I was seeing my family. Annette found a scholarship from the Brain Injury Association for my son who attends university. Along with other requirements, one of the requirements to apply for the scholarship was a letter of recommendation. In order for my son to get the scholarship, Annette wrote a strong letter of recommendation to the Brain Injury Association for my son, and my son got the scholarship. That’s why she was not only working as a lawyer but also was my family member. Not only that but also when my sister was extremely sick, she diligently called my family to ask if there was anything she could do to help, exactly like a true family member would do. Even after my sister felt better, she continually checked on her, and even on days when we had to discuss the case, Annette always checked on my sister’s well-being. Whenever I called Ms. Annette Griggs and her team, I was treated not like a client but like family by all of them. In addition to the aforementioned statement, I exceedingly appreciate them for their professionalism and kindness. If there was an option to give a higher rating than five stars, I would give it. I strongly recommend Ms. Annette Griggs to anyone who is going through brain, spinal and catastrophic injury cases.

My traffic accident left me with an inability to process thoughts rationally (concussion injury). Post accident, I did several things that I should not have done leaving me in a poorer claim situation with the insurance agency due to my injury. I have heard that sometimes Midwesterners are a bit apologetic about not being from the Coastal Centers where the "great lawyers". "great doctors" - you get it - are available. Well, having suffered a brain injury and a concussion in a Missouri accident I needed a really good Missouri lawyer to help me assert my rights to recovery. I was T-boned by a driver who had been overserved alcohol at a Missouri establishment - what is called a "dram" case. I had - and still have - frequent migraine headaches, PTSD, crazy anxiety. I got lucky in that one doesn't need to go to the Coasts to get the assistance, care, highly ethical representation of perhaps as distinguished, experienced, effective an attorney in this area of practice as one can find anywhere in the country in Ms. Griggs. She has been unfailingly polite, supportive, responsive (returns emails and calls quickly, respectfully and answers all questions). I have felt that she not only is an expert in all aspects of the applicable laws and process but genuinely appreciates what I have gone through, never minimizing my injuries, supportive of treatment to get better more than focusing on getting an award. Of course, these efforts did result recently in a substantial settlement which will make a difference in my life going forward! No predictions, projections, promises along the way, but a steady, planned legal effort with the help of equally kind, professional and capable staff members. From the very beginning everyone was very professional and treated us with upmost respect. When filling out questions for paperwork needed for both parties if I ran into problems the gals helped me over the phone with them! The last ones the paraprofessional actually called and we went thru each one over the phone together which took awhile but she was helpful and nice the entire time!! I’m very well pleased with this firm!! Ours was a long drawn out process so they put in lots of time and work but never complained!! I would recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone!!
