In 2009, our daughter was struck and killed by a drunk driver while she was working at a camp in Maine. Because our family is not from Maine, we asked two attorneys with whom we have worked and whose opinions we value and trust to vet an on-the-scene personal injury attorney in Maine. As it turns out, their recommendation of Steve was well placed and his care and handling of our case was not only thorough, with extreme attention to detail, but he often metaphorically held our hands as he guided us through our extremely difficult, painful and emotional case. We are confident that every penny that could be recovered in wrongful death allowances was recovered from several parties. The recovered monies were put into an estate fund and eventually disbursed to two scholarships and several other causes that our daughter would want to support. He was compassionate, well-informed and persistent in pursuing the case to its successful conclusion. There was one tack we were interested in taking that Steve gently but firmly told us would be useless and costly ~ and he was absolutely right. Steve is an amazing personal injury attorney but working with him goes far beyond his extensive legal knowledge and skill. He advised us on how to prepare for the driver’s plea and sentencing and helped us craft our victim impact statements. We flew back to Maine for the sentencing and he was with us every step of the way. His guidance, care and expertise made a sad and difficult day bearable. In short ~ Steve is highly professional, knows Maine law inside out, and will pursue every avenue that is worth pursuing, while at the same time he will be forthright and honest about when it is best to step back and spare more legal expense, time and anguish.

I recently participated in a challenging mediation of a multi-party case in which Steven Mogul represented a party with a significant potential exposure. I was impressed with Steven's thorough preparation for a difficult negotiating session and very effective use of the mediation process to accomplish his client's objective.

Attorney Steve Mogul represented me after a car crash caused by a kid who ran a stop sign at 55 mph into a major route. I was listed as a likely fatality at the time of the crash, but didn't cooperate with that prognostication. Steve completely handled the medical payments which were substantial, and even negotiated lower costs for me with the medical providers. More importantly, he patiently kept after the kid's insurance company and got me a settlement that was almost triple their original offer to me. Steve did a great job and I am very grateful.
