Marcy is amazing. She was very honest with me, not a trait you find in most attorneys. She was able to help me get full custody of my daughter which is not easy for a father in Indiana. I had marcy for a public defender. Despite her best efforts to throw me under the bus her husband Chad, a brilliant compassionate and hardworking man stepped in at the last minute and got me probation.

I was terrified that I would be represented by someone who wouldn't fight for me, but luckily that's not the case. She has given me complete faith that she will help get things straightened out so I can move on with my life. After an incredibly abusive marriage and becoming a single mother of three, including a special needs child who relies on me 24/7, I finally have things lined up to begin a new chapter. My youngest is now old enough to start attending public school and has made tremendous progress with one-on-one therapies. This means I can finally have a normal job and provide for my family without all the struggles. Becoming a felon throws everything out the window I would have to figure out a whole new career plan and all of my hard work and all of my dreams literally are down the drain. If you're on the fence about whether or not you should have her represent you, trust me when I say I get it. I'm a very nervous, distrusting person myself anymore after we send events in a but I trust her. I'll update this if I can remember when it's all said and done, but I'm pretty sure she's got my back.

The absolute best public defender you could ever hope for! Marcy Groves fought for me, and as I sat in the courtroom, I watched her fight for her other clients. It truly gave me hope in the world to see someone care enough about their clients to not let them have the state ruin their lives forever. It is one more motivator to get my life together so that if, God forbid, I ever need a lawyer again, I can hire her.
